The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) has been wrestling with what she had to do at the cliff house, where Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) barged in and lunged at her. Although Steffy knows she fought back in self-defense, she’s still had a hard time processing her fatal actions.
In the March 7 episode, Steffy opened up to Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) about that before confiding in John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) as well. Let’s take a closer look at Steffy’s dialogue in some emotional scenes with Finn at Forrester Creations.
“I’m struggling, too. I killed someone, Finn. I took someone’s life. What have I done?” Steffy said with tears in her eyes.
As the conversation continued, Steffy kept repeating that line about killing someone and said she was trying to come to terms with that.
However, Steffy confessed that she couldn’t get the memory out of her head and talked about how it haunted her.
We have to point out that B&B is missing an extremely important story beat here.
This isn’t the first time Steffy has killed someone in self-defense – and the show really needs to acknowledge that fact.
It’s tough to buy Steffy’s claims about being unable to get the memory out of her head when she’s seemingly forgotten that she whacked Aly Forrester (Ashlyn Pearce) with a tire iron and led to her own fatal outcome.
In that case, Steffy also faced a dilemma where she feared for her life.
Aly had totally gone off the rails and was prepared to attack Steffy on the side of the road, but Steffy swung that tire iron and caused Aly to fall on a rock.
Aly lost her life after taking a blow to the head, so Steffy needs to be remembering that now.
Since Steffy has been through a similar nightmare before, it should be adding to the pain of this whole Sheila ordeal.
It’s bad writing to just ignore Aly Forrester’s 2015 exit storyline, especially when they’re trying to play up how haunted Steffy feels about Sheila.
Steffy should absolutely be thinking back to the night of all the Ally horror and wondering how she keeps landing in these terrible situations!
Many B&B fans have been complaining on social media since the show’s erasing history and neglecting to include something that would add a crucial layer to all this.
