The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) will have to do some serious soul-searching. Although Thomas finally got his dream woman, he’s worried this romance just isn’t meant to last.
Thomas has spent years longing for Hope Logan (Annika Noelle), so he naturally wanted to believe they had a long-term future together.
However, the fact that Hope said no to his marriage proposal twice won’t leave Thomas with a good feeling about what’s ahead.
After Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) makes another pitch for Thomas to stand up for himself and envision a Hope-less path, he’ll indeed start to imagine it.
Although Thomas would love nothing more than to build a life with Hope, he can’t do that if she doesn’t want the same things as him.
Thomas will eventually meet back up with Hope to discuss where they stand – and she won’t like the news he’s about to deliver.
Of course, Hope will apologize for hurting Thomas and will beg him to understand that she only turned down the proposal.
It’s not like Hope was trying to dump Thomas or push him away.
Hope isn’t ready to jump into another marriage with Thomas or anyone else for that matter, so she’ll explain her perspective and hope Thomas can accept that.
Although Hope will be leaving the door open for marriage sometime down the road, Thomas will feel like he needs to be the one to shut that door – right here, right now.
Thomas may admit he’s come too far in his recovery to set himself up for that kind of heartache.
If Thomas lets this relationship progress any further, he may realize he could spin out if it falls apart.
Perhaps Thomas will argue that it’s better to just have a clean break, especially since Douglas Forrester’s (Henry Joseph Samiri) feelings are involved, too.
During the week of March 25-29, B&B spoilers say Thomas’ life-changing choice will leave Hope shocked, but it seems there won’t be anything she can do to stop this breakup.
Hope will be devastated over Thomas listening to Steffy’s advice, but Steffy will find herself celebrating a victory!
Once Steffy gets updates on Thomas’ decision, she’ll feel like he’s finally free to pursue a real future with someone else.
