The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, May 9, reveal that Jordan (Colleen Zenk) will grow increasingly desperate down in the cell Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) trapped her in.
The longer Jordan stays locked up, the more she feels like she’s losing her mind.
Jordan has been hallucinating spiders and even resorted to drinking the vodka that Victor left for her.
When Victor returns to check on his hostage, he should be pleased to see that Jordan is absolutely miserable.
Jordan already tried to negotiate a deal to get out of there, but she’ll apparently try a bit harder on Thursday’s Y&R episode.
It turns out Jordan will give Victor updates on a new proposal, but she’ll have to make it good for him to even consider it!
Of course, Victor is feeling very in control of the situation now, so he won’t be eager to give up the power he holds over Jordan.
That could mean that Jordan’s latest negotiation attempt will fail as well.
Over with Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters), she’ll lay down the law with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).
Diane will have some new rules that she expects Jack to follow, so she’ll hand down an ultimatum and hope that Jack will cave in.
Now that Jack has relapsed on pills, Diane may need some reassurance that it won’t happen again and spell out some stipulations that’ll help her feel secure.
Jack may think Diane is overreacting, but Diane might dig her heels in and argue that Jack owes her after what he did in Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) suite.
If Jack expects to get his marriage back on track, he may have to agree to Diane’s terms.
Standing against Diane on this could make a bad situation even worse and lead to another round of terrible news!
Over with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), she’ll deliver some beneficial guidance to Summer Newman (Allison Lanier).
Phyllis isn’t normally the ideal person to turn to for words of wisdom, but it looks like she’ll have some genuinely helpful advice.
This may involve Summer’s issues with Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) since those have been a big topic of conversation lately.
Summer doesn’t want Claire anywhere near Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell), but is she keeping them apart for the right reasons?
Regardless, Phyllis may think Summer is dealing with some trauma of her own following the kidnapping and could perhaps encourage her to talk to a professional.
