The Young and the Restless Wednesday, May 15 Recap: Billy Leaves GC with Agenda, Tucker Offers Dirty Work

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Wednesday, May 15, reveals that Alan Laurent (Christopher Cousins) will turn down a kiss from Ashley Abbott’s (Eileen Davidson) alter and act like he’s not willing to do the whole long-distance thing. “Belle” will suspect Alan is resisting because he’s only interested in psychoanalyzing her, so she’ll stomp off.

Later, Alan will track “Belle” down at home, so she’ll hope he’s changed his mind.

However, “Ms. Abbott” will eventually take charge and make it clear to Alan that she doesn’t need to be rescued before slamming out the door.

Alan will admit to Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) that Ashley’s issues are worse than he thought and will reflect on her multiple personalities.

After Alan hints about Ashley potentially having dissociative identity disorder, he’ll suggest her alters are likely trying to protect her from something substantial.

Alan will think they need to bring the real Ashley to the surface and convince her to get help in a controlled environment.

Otherwise, there aren’t a lot of good options here.

Back with “Ms. Abbott,” she’ll complain when she realizes “Ash” has returned and will silence her voice along with “Belle’s.”

“Ms. Abbott” will try to focus on the task at hand and will declare that “it’s time for Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) to die.”

At the GCAC, Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will complain about Devon Hamilton-Winters’ (Bryton James) past treatment of Tucker, but she’ll ultimately head upstairs and let them talk.

That’ll give Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) a chance to visit Audra in her suite, where Audra will get updates on Sally’s sinking interior design firm and her potential return to fashion.

Audra will give Sally a nudge to follow her heart and do what’s best for her.

After Audra mentions her previous art career, she’ll talk about realizing she wasn’t as talented as other artists and making business her art instead.

Sally will also find out about Audra’s imminent Paris trip, so she’ll thank Audra for the talk and ask her to bring her back a souvenir.

Back downstairs, Devon will make it clear that he’s just looking for information and not a partnership.

Although Devon won’t think this favor changes anything between them, he’ll eventually seem open to the idea of Tucker proving himself.

Devon will ask what Tucker’s original plan was with Mamie Johnson (Veronica Redd) to get Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) out of Chancellor-Winters.

Tucker will realize there’s an inside threat, so he’ll assume Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is the problem.

Devon will admit he’s hoping to take whatever leverage Tucker had on Jill and use it against Billy now.

Unfortunately, there wasn’t a concrete plan that Tucker and Mamie nailed down.

Tucker hoped Mamie could score dirt on Jill, but Mamie turned against him before that could happen.

Nevertheless, Tucker will hint that maybe there’s another way to play this and will offer to do Devon’s dirty work on a long-game strategy.

As Tucker explains, he’ll suggest he can handle Billy and keep Devon’s hands clean.

Tucker will add that Devon can make a big show about unity so that Jill won’t suspect he was involved once Billy’s kicked to the curb.

Although Devon will seem tempted on Wednesday’s Y&R episode, he’ll tell Tucker “no thanks” on that and take off.

Afterward, Tucker will find Audra upstairs and insist Devon’s willing to give him another chance as a father if he can get Billy out of Chancellor-Winters.

In Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) office, she’ll be frustrated over Billy going MIA.

Lily will eventually get a text from Billy that offers an apology for his abrupt departure, so she’ll relay Billy’s news to Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic).

It turns out Billy will be traveling around to various company offices to get to know everyone better and foster strong communication.

Nate will act like it’s a victory lap, but Lily will think it’s even worse since Billy is presumably off gathering allies.

Once Devon arrives and hears what Billy’s up to, he’ll act like it’s a good thing.

Devon will insist that gives them more time to figure out how to cut him off at the knees before he gets back.
