Yellowstone fans are looking forward to the final six episodes of the modern Western series set to air in November 2024.
As everyone waits for those final episodes, Yellowstone star Forrie J. Smith reveals that his character, Lloyd Pierce is back on Dutton Ranch. Smith, 65, teased the final six episodes set to conclude the fifth and final season of Yellowstone.
Yellowstone season 5 part 2 is currently filming
In an Instagram video posted by Yellowstone star Forrie J. Smith on May 17, he revealed that he is officially back on the set in Montana for the final episodes of the hit modern Western series. Smith’s post was good news for fans who want closure after the series was canceled. In the clip, Smith told his fans:
Hey y’all, I’m back in Montana, finishing up Yellowstone. I’m blessed with that.
The actor, who plays Lloyd Pierce on the show. revealed his plans for the weekend, as the real-life rodeo star said he will be attending the East Helena Rodeo Fundraiser on Saturday as the guest of honor.
About Forrie J. Smith
The rodeo star and Yellowstone actor grew up in Montana and has an impressive list of credits since first entering Hollywood as a stuntman and wrangler. According to his bio on the Special Operations Warrior Foundation website, his acting career began in Desperado (1987). Since then, Smith has starred in many movie projects, including Gunsmoke, Tombstone, Rambo III, and Hell or High Water.
However, his latest project is the role of Lloyd Pierce, a Dutton Ranch ranch hand in Taylor Sheridan’s epic series, Yellowstone. Meanwhile, Smith joined the Kevin Costner-led show in season 3. Since that time, he has starred in every season of the modern Western series.
Smith’s Instagram video confirmed he will once again reprise his role in the final Yellowstone episodes. However, little has been revealed about season 5 part 2 so far. Meanwhile, Paramount also confirmed on Monday that filming had begun in Montana.

Yellowstone first premiered in 2018 on the Paramount Network and follows the story of John Dutton, the sixth-generation patriarch of the Dutton family.
