Beyond the Gates spoilers for the week of December 15-19 suggest that Nicole Dupree (Daphnee Duplaix) and Carlton Fitzgerald (Robert Christopher Riley) will share a steamy night, while Ted Richardson (Keith D. Robinson) learns about Sharon Winger (Bonita Brisker) and Vernon Dupree’s (Clifton Davis) “secret”.
The new CBS soap just dropped its promo video for next week, and there’s a lot to unpack.
The Beyond the Gates preview opens with a scene between Nicole and Carlton dancing in her mansion living room.
The fireplace is going in the background when Carlton asks who this ‘fun-loving’ and ‘adventurous’ woman is.
Nicole answers that question with a kiss, as she’s heard on the voiceover saying, “This is Nicole Dupree, Phase 2”.
From the looks of it, Nicole and Carlton will cross a line, so, what does this mean for her budding romance with Dr. Kial Rollins (Greg Vaughan)?
Across town, Hayley Hamilton (Marquita Goings) meets up with a new character, Lynette Wise (Dominique Madison).
It’s clear from the Friday, December 12 episode that Hayley knows Lynette from her past.
The was at Bill Hamilton’s (Timon Durrett) law firm, interested in retaining his firm’s legal services, and when Hayley locked eyes with her, it was obvious they knew each other.
In the BTG preview, Hayley tells Lynette that she’s invited someone to their get together, and the woman is shocked as she says, “Randy?”
Randy Parker (Maurice P. Kerry), appears and gives Lynette a hug as he notes, “Long-time no see.” So, Lynette not only knows Hayley … but Randy, too? Is she family?
As the Beyond the Gates promo video for the week of December 15-19 continues, Ted and Leslie Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant) are at the hospital.
Ted a little shocked as he states, “You’re telling me Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis) had an affair?”
Leslie quickly notes, “No … is having an affair, as in present tense.” Ted asks, “With?”
Leslie believes Vernon is having an affair with Sharon, but most BTG fans think that Sharon is simply giving him singing lessons to surprise Anita Dupre (Tamara Tunie) with.
Speaking of Sharon, she along with Tracy Tyler (Maria Howell) are in Anita’s living room during the next preview clip.
The three are having an Articulettes reunion, as Sharon says, “I came here to cheer you up, and here I am sticking my foot in my mouth.”
Anita retorts, “No news there,” and has some attitude on her face when she says it. Either Anita is joking, or someone’s told her about Sharon’s secret meetings with Vernon.
As the preview wraps up, Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley) is with Bill when he boldly claims, “I’m surprised the honeymoon phase has lasted this long.”
Dani smoothly replies, “He’s the real deal.” The promo closes with a scene between Dani and Andre Richardson (Sean Freeman), at home.
Andre asks Dani why she needs help in the bedroom. He implies she wants a hand with wrapping Christmas gifts, and she tells him it has more to do with some “unwrapping” as she saunters away.
Andre, excitedly, follows his wife down the hall, without wasting time.
Beyond the Gates spoilers for the week of December 15-19 hint at some fun and dramatic moments in Fairmont Crest, with five explosive, “must-see” episodes ahead.
