First off, Doug’s gambling addiction and debts incurred at the casino could place him on a path toward danger.
Doug tried his best during the week of April 14-18 to stay away from the establishment by keeping busy at the hospital; however, it sounds like he won’t be able to refrain from his addiction on Monday.
There’s a good chance he heads back to the casino and spirals down a losing streak.
This could lead to some terrible consequences on Doug’s part, especially since fans know he’s on Joey Armstrong’s (Jon Lindstrom) radar.
During the Friday, April 18 episode, Joey finally revealed his master plan and why he was targeting Doug.
Joey has his eye on Doug’s wife, Vanessa McBride (Lauren Buglioli), and her high-end real estate company for a money laundering scheme, so will the couple fall into his trap?
Across town, Beyond the Gates spoilers note that Eva will work tirelessly to organize an anniversary celebration for Ted Richardson (Maurice Johnson) and Nicole Richardson (Daphnée Duplaix).
With that said, does Dana “Leslie” Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant) have her hands in any of this?
After all, Eva’s mom wants to use the shindig to reveal the affair she had with Ted decades ago.
In addition, Leslie is also hoping to drop the bombshell that Eva is Ted’s biological daughter.
Still, as Eva is starting to grow close to both Ted and Nicole, she may be working overtime to ensure the couple’s milestone anniversary is special.
Lastly, the Dupree family will gather during the April 21 episode and share a karaoke night out together.
On Friday, Naomi Hamilton Hawthorne (Arielle Prepetit) wanted to do something to lift the spirits of her grandmother, Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie).
Naomi ended up organizing a night at Uptown, and it looks like the entire Dupree fam-jam will be there to rock the night away.
Beyond the Gates spoilers note that as the week progresses, Anita will get an offer of sorts, so it’ll be interesting to see if this karaoke night will be linked to that.
