Well, it could very well be Dana “Leslie” Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant), as she seemingly has a plan to reveal that Eva Thomas (Ambyr Michelle) is Ted Richardson’s (Maurice Johnson) daughter.
Leslie mentioned dropping this bombshell during the award ceremony on the Wednesday, March 12 episode via a DNA test, despite Eva’s apprehension of ruining Nicole’s day.
The two fought about it, as Leslie questioned her daughter’s loyalty. Leslie is going to somehow weasel her way into the big shindig by snagging a server position to execute this scheme; however, it looks like someone may save the day.
Beyond the Gates spoilers hint that Ted will somehow get in Leslie’s way, so can he stop his crazy ex from ruining his wife’s night?
In other news, Naomi Hamilton Hawthorne (Arielle Prepetit) will beg her mom, Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley) to keep things civil.
Is there any way that Bill Hamilton (Timon Durrett) and his new wife, Hayley Lawson-Hamilton (Marquita Goings) could be at Nicole’s award ceremony, too?
He may find a way to score an invite if he knows it’ll get under Dani’s skin. If this becomes the case, there could be some major chaos.
After all, Dani is a wildcard who loves outbursts, so will she listen to Naomi’s reasoning or cause a scene?
Meanwhile, there will also be drama between Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis) and Martin Richardson (Brandon Claybon).
It looks like Vernon will find out about Martin’s presidential goals and confront him on Thursday’s episode.
One would think that Vernon would be happy his grandson wants to be the President of the United Sates, but this won’t be the case.
Why does Vernon object? Could it have to do with the mysterious secret that Martin has?
