Beyond the Gates spoilers for Wednesday, April 9 indicate some plot twists on the horizon at Fairmont Crest.
First off, there will be some suspicion about Dana “Leslie” Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant) where Laura Peterson (Destiny Love) is concerned.
Leslie has had it out for Ted Richardson (Maurice Johnson) and Nicole Richardson’s (Daphnée Duplaix) assistant since the soap debuted, running her off the road and causing the car crash that landed her in the hospital.
During the Monday, April 7 episode, Leslie found out that Laura was on the cusp of being discharged, snuck into her room, and injected her IV with an unknown substance.
Leslie has no real issue with Laura, but she does want to make sure she’s out of the picture so that Eva Thomas (Ambyr Michelle) can remain in her assistant’s role and at the Richardson mansion.
That’s because Eva has played a key role in Leslie’s revenge plan against Ted; however, as it’s not quite finished yet, Leslie needs Laura to remain in the hospital.
What did Leslie inject Laura with? Here’s hoping fans find out during Wednesday’s show that Laura is okay.
Regardless, Beyond the Gates spoilers suggest that someone could connect the dots to Laura’s car accident and Leslie.

Speaking of the hospital, Andre Richardson (Sean Freeman) will continue to film his “nurses” documentary, but from the sounds of it, he’ll cause a stir during the April 9 show as not everyone will be happy he’s there.
What kind of controversy will erupt from Andre’s film?
During the BTG preview for the week of April 7-11, a clip is shown where Andre films something as Ashley Morgan (Jen Jacob) is behind the nurse’s station.
She immediately stomps from behind the desk and pleads with him to delete the film.
What is it he films, and why is Ashley so desperate to have the footage erased? Will this all cause a scandal?
Lastly, after Samantha Richardson’s (Najah Jackson) whirlwind night as Chelsea Hamilton’s (RhonniRose Mantilla) assistant at the fashion show during the Tuesday, April 8 episode, she starts to have aspirations of becoming a model herself.
In addition to assistant duties, she walked the runway and did a pretty stellar job, considering it was her first time.
It sounds like Samantha will want Chelsea to help her break into the business, and as the Dupree family always sticks together, Chelsea will probably have zero issues helping young Samantha with this.
With that said, it sounds like this is a recipe for disaster.
Not only for Chelsea, but Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley), and potentially Martin Richardson (Brandon Claybon) and Bradley “Smitty” Smith (Mike Manning), too.
Martin and Smitty will likely have reservations about Samantha entering this industry, but will they be able to hold her back?
Beyond the Gates spoilers also promise some tension between Chelsea and Dani as the week progresses, and it’s all thanks to Samantha and her modeling dreams.
Will Dani step in as Samantha’s manager? Could Chelsea get a little jealous?
