BTG spoilers note that Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie) will have a big announcement during the Monday, August 4 episode, and this was teased while the Friday, August 1 show came to a close.
From the sounds of it, Anita’s news could be linked to the crossover storyline involving the Y&R’s Devon, as back in Genoa City, the company he heads up, Winters, does dabble in music contracts.
Regardless, it’ll be fun for fans of both CBS soaps to see Devon get involved in Fairmont Crest storylines, but the big question is, what has him coming to this community, and is there any way he’s related to Bill Hamilton (Timon Durrett)?
Regardless, Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis) will host an Articulettes’ reunion concert afterparty, and it sounds like there will be some interesting moments. First things first, Nicole Richardson (Daphnee Duplaix) and Leslie Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant) will clash, as Nicole confronts her nemesis for crashing the concert.
Will things get as violent this time around as it did the last time these ladies had a heated face-off?
Across town, Hayley will call in a mysterious favor. Beyond the Gates fans have speculated as to whether the woman is pregnant or lying about it, so does this ‘favor’ have to do with this?
After all, Hayley had an odd phone recently, hinting that she may have a surrogate in the shadows – or at least some sort of partner in crime.
The daytime drama’s preview seems to imply that Hayley will have a miscarriage this week, and Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley) will help her with her medical emergency, so fans will have to tune in to see what happens next.
As Friday, August 8, rolls around, Hayley will give Bill some news that affects their future, so perhaps Hayley will decide it’s time to end the pregnancy charade. But will she get caught?
In other news, Naomi Hawthorne (Arielle Prepetit) will confront Bill on his ‘working relationship’ with Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom), so fans need to brace for another father-daughter face-off.
Across town, Ted Richardson (Keith D. Robinson) will place Doug McBride on the spot about some sort of mistake, so is this about work or his gambling habit?
Speaking of Doug, Vanessa McBride (Lauren Buglioli) gest unwanted attention when it comes to her newfound ‘extra funds’, so will someone be on to the ‘deal’ she has with Joey?
Back to Doug, as the weekend hits, he’ll reach out to his childhood friend, Randy Parker (Maurice P. Kerry), regarding a scheme. Will the two have a plan to strike back at Joey?
Do they really want to go through with this considering how dangerous the casino owner is?
Over to Elon Hawthorne (Malachi Malik), he’ll make a final decision where Kenny’s (Jason Vendryes) murder case is concerned.
As he and the rest of the crew want Martin Richardson’s (Brandon Claybon) secret and cover-up, wrapped up, he’ll likely choose to close the investigation, but how will Jacob Hawthorne (Jibre Hordges) feel about that?
Finally, Andre Richardson (Sean Freeman) will push the button on a romance with Ashley Morgan (Jen Jacob).
While he has a situationship with Dani, he’s always had a ‘thing’ for Ashley, and the freelance photographer and nurse have been flirting with the idea of dating and a relationship.
Ashley will get some advice from her mom, Jan Morgan (Jerri Tubbs), during the week of August 4, so, her mother may advise her to follow her heart and pursue a romance with Fairmont Crest’s resident playboy, despite his reputation.
It sounds like Andre will finally reveal he wants to take his romance with Ashley to the next level, and
she’ll be in agreement.
