Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers note it’s going to be another wild week in the land of Salem. The NBC soap’s preview video for the week of January 13-17 just dropped, so let’s dive in and talk about what fans should expect to go down over the next five days.
The preview starts with Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) at the Brady Pub.
Marlena asks Steve if he knows if John Black (Drake Hogestyn) is safe, and Steve looks apprehensive about talking about it.
Of course, John is on a hush-hush mission, which was a storyline created to help explain why he wasn’t on canvas during the holidays and other important milestones.
Most fans are aware that at the time of the shooting, Drake Hogestyn was offscreen, battling pancreatic cancer, which led to his passing in September 2024.
Is the show setting up John’s goodbye storyline this coming week? Fans will have to tune in to find out.
As the Days preview video strums along, Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) will be standing in the middle of the DiMera mansion, as she demands that EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) tell her where Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) is.
Just as she finishes this sentence, and EJ tells her to get out of his house, Rafe stumbles out from the DiMera tunnels.
Of course, fans know he’s been there all along, but it’s hard not to think that it’s Arnold Feniger’s (Galen Gering) coming out, not Rafe.
After all, Arnold just reappeared on the canvas, he must stick around a bit longer to create some drama, right?
Next up, Shawn-Douglas Brady (Brandon Beemer) and JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) will be reunited (at the police station as partners) and it’ll feel so good, as the two shake hands and Shawn welcomes JJ back to the force.
As scenes in the Days preview for the week of January 13-17 continue to shift, a clip is shown of Tate Black (Leo Howard) promising Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) that he won’t let Sophia Choi’s (Madelyn Kientz) pregnancy tear them apart.
Looks like he’ll need to be by Sophia’s side as she gets an ultrasound this week, so can he juggle being a teen dad and awesome boyfriend?
Still, Doug Williams III (Peyton Meyer) is also in this week’s preview, waiting in the wings, promising Holly he won’t let her get hurt, when she stops him and looks lovingly into his eyes.
Tate who? Looks like Holly is ready to move on with another man.
As the Days preview video comes to a close, Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) is shown with Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) warning what will happen if Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) finds out about the scheme and Victor Kiriakis’ (John Aniston) forged letter.
As Sarah Kiriakis (Linsey Godfrey) adds that Xander, “… won’t rest until Philip’s head is on a spike,” if he catches wind to what Philip has done. Yikes!
Days of Our Lives spoilers say that Sarah is in a dicey predicament now that she knows the scheme Philip pulled, but in an attempt to keep Xander from doing something violent – and landing in jail, she’ll keep Philip’s secret.
But in protecting her husband, will Sarah ruin her marriage?
