Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Monday, September 8, reveal Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) and Jennifer Horton Deveraux (Melissa Reeves) will get some disturbing news while Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) and Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) try to nail down a top suspect. Cat Greene (AnneLynne McCord) will also tackle a crisis, so here’s what DOOL fans can expect.
In EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feuerriegel) office, Gwen von Leuschner (Emily O’Brien) just walked in and caught Cat holding his blueprint for the new hospital wing.
Although Gwen is curious, Cat should be able to talk her way out of trouble pretty easily here.
All Cat has to say is she’s just unpacking and getting everything set up now that she’s EJ’s new assistant.
Cat will avert one crisis before addressing another on Monday’s DOOL episode. Days spoilers say Cat will feel like she owes Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) an apology, so she’ll be sure to give him one.
This could be about Mark Greene (Jonah Robinson) if Cat decides she was too pushy before.
Chad still hasn’t decided what he’ll tell the parole board, but Cat is obviously hoping he’ll put in a good word for her brother.
Jack and Jennifer will react to some alarming updates, so Chad may decide to go easy on Mark and push for his release.
That could be what causes Jennifer and Jack to flip out on Monday’s show, but it’s also possible they’ll realize Chad is dating Cat and fume over that, too.
Regardless, Cat will be sorry for all the drama, but Chad may promise it’s fine and that they can overcome whatever challenges are in their path.
Once Gwen meets up with EJ, she’ll do some venting.
Gwen will force EJ to listen to all her complaints, so we’ll see if he can offer a solution or at least some advice.
Other Days spoilers say Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) will strategize and try to stay a few moves ahead on the chessboard.
Although Gabi will assume she’s got the upper hand, she may be wrong about that now that Xander’s discovered the bug she planted in his office.
Philip and Xander will discuss that bug on Monday’s Days episode, so they’ll fume and try to figure out who planted it there.
