In tonight’s FBI episode, Assistant Special Agent in Charge Jubal Valentine was invited to a secret meeting. The DOJ has an informant. His name was Kevin.

Kevin refused to speak to anyone other than Jubal. He wanted to warn him. There was a planned attack on the New York FBI building and Jubal didn’t find out about it until it was nearly too late.

He went to the meeting. He spoke with the source. The source confessed everything. From the planned attack to the fact that he found out about it weeks ago. He tried to report it to his boss. And people started dying.

No sooner did this guy warn Jubal that they were attacked at a supposed safehouse. More people died. Jubal thankfully wasn’t one of them. He sustained an injury to his shoulder.

He tried to flee to the nearby bodega to get a first aide kit and he was found by Special Agent Maxine Joubert. She said she got his distress call. Jubal knew instantly that was a lie. She was from the New Jersey office. He knew that there was no way she could get that call moments ago much less find him so fast. He also saw the tattoo on her wrist.

Jubal went into action after he saw that tattoo. He stopped Joubert from killing the bodega owner. They fought over the gun and Jubal killed her. His real team found him soon afterwards. The tattoo proved that Joubert was Forefront. It was a terrorist organization that infiltrated the Marshals service.

The feds took them down. Or they thought they did. The leader must have seen that the FBI was too strong. He or she then went about recruiting FBI agents. Joubert wasn’t alone. If Jubal needed additional information to prove it, the safehouse getting compromised was that proof.

The safehouse was the Threat Intake Center. They dealt with informants all the time. The code to the front door changes every twenty-four hours. It was only someone with clearance that could get passed that code at the door to the agent at the front. ADIC Reynolds also felt it was too convenient that Jubal managed to escape twice.

Jubal was high up in the New York Field Office. He knew the code. Jubal also was an alcoholic. He drank on the job here and there. It left him vulnerable to outside forces. Reynolds suspected Jubal of being Forefront and he had him interrogated.

Isobel put a stop to it. She was willing to stake her career that Jubal wasn’t Forefront. She got Jubal out of there. Jubal began suspecting Reynolds after that interrogation and Isobel remained the voice of reason. She said that Reynolds had too much to lose. He also stayed investigating Forefront long after the initial investigation. Isobel got Jubal back with his team. They looked into Kevin. Kevin hid evidence in case anything happened to him. He found out that a shipment bound for the Pentagon had gotten rerouted.

Stolen! The shipment was cellphones that could explode with a mere text. It was like the pagers that Mossad recently used. The DOJ was going to bench it and then it got stolen by Forefront.

Forefront had burrowed their way into every department at the DOJ. They believed in destroying the old so that they could supposedly build it back stronger than ever. Jubal and Isobel working together made the connection between the phones and the FBI. The attack on the FBI was going to be detonated phones.

They all got phones from the feds. The key to understanding who got what was when they got the phone. The shipment went missing a month ago. Everyone that received a new phone in the last four weeks were told to give it up. Isobel went to go warn Reynolds when his phone blew. He along with others were killed.

Isobel was knocked out in the explosion. The person in charge thought she was dead. In truth, she played dead because Maggie found her in time. They went to work investigating the man behind this and why he did this? His name is DAD Simon Keane. He was career FBI.

Keane was a sleeper agent. He worked for the Chinese government. Forefront wasn’t about “real” Americans taking over. They were actually weakening the government so that they couldn’t fight back.

It would allow the Chinese to go unchecked. The FBI Agents that they killed were in fact investigating Chinese ties in several divisions to several forms of government. Reynolds was killed because again he never stopped looking into Forefront. He knew something about it was off. He just never imagined that it was a false flag operation by the Chinese.

They targeted people that were vulnerable. Joubert never received an infraction at work. She also never received any accolades. She was unremarkable. She wasn’t seen and joining terrorists made her feel powerful. Keane must have felt the same or did it the money. Isobel didn’t care either way.

She wanted to take him down and the one way to do it was by playing double-agent herself. Isobel came back from the dead. She approached Keane with an offer. She claimed she wanted a piece of the profits. She even went as far as to admit she was willing to trade information.

She knew about a secret underground investigation into Forefront

She said was willing to tell him about it in exchange for being brought into the real organization. What Isobel’s people really did was lure people she knew were unloyal to her team into a trap.

They planned on picking off everyone that Keane could rely on. They needed to take down his private army before they could go after Keane himself. Once they were done, that’s when they made their move. They arrested Keane and his second in command was willing to betray him in an instant. Keane was arrested.

And to make sure that there wouldn’t be accidents, he was apprehended by the NYPD. But Isobel never got looked at by doctors and she later passed out. Her fate was left up in the air at the end of tonight’s episode.

THE END!
