General Hospital (GH) recap for Friday, October 10, suggest that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is on the hunt for Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), while Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) trauma-dumped all her pregnancy details to Elizabeth “Liz” Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst).
The show opened with Veronica “Ronnie” Bard (Erika Slezak) enjoying tea in the Quartermaine kitchen, but Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) barged in, upset that Ronnie was using her mother’s tea set.
Ronnie asked if they could start over, and if she could tell her about Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) as an adult; however, Tracy balked at the idea.
Tracy told Ronnie that she and Monica were close and spoke every day near the end of her sister-in-law’s days, and since Monica never uttered Ronnie’s name, she knows Ronnie inheriting the house is a scam – and she storms out.
Meanwhile, ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) gets an earful from Anna about the wrong-address error from the search warrant for the Quartermaine mansion, days ago.
Turner was upset when it hit the newspaper, but Anna was furious that it set their investigation back, and was puzzled by Turner’s mistake.
Turner noted it was just a typo, but a flashback showed her telling the office that the address number was 65 – not 66 – Harbor View Road, with a sly smile; a clip from the other day.
Over at the hospital, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) visited Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) upon his request.
Drew tried to blackmail Jordan into “saving” Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) by trying to convince her friend, Anna, to push for an arrest of Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) for his shooting.
Drew told Jordan that he believes Curtis shot him, but Michael needs to be arrested for Willow’s sake. Jordan was disgusted by Drew’s proposal and behavior.
She flat-out refused to play his games and encouraged him to do better with his second chance at life.
GH recaps for the Friday show note that Michael dropped by the Aurora Media offices for some small talk with Curtis.
Curtis apologized for Lulu Spencer’s (Alexa Havins Bruening) piece on him being the prime suspect in Drew’s shooting case, but Michael was okay with it all.
He acknowledged that he was the prime suspect, but he’s not worried, plus he has an alibi.
He talked about how Ronnie saved the day for him by noticing the wrong address on the search warrant and believed it was ‘divine’ intervention from his grandmother, Monica.
Speaking of, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) confronted Lulu about the article she wrote on Michael while the blonde was enjoying a meal at Bobbie’s.
He questioned why she was going after Michael, and she noted she was just reporting the facts.
Lulu told Sonny that Michael is her family, and she considers Sonny her family too.
She’d never targeted them, and she was just doing her job.
Sonny didn’t exactly seem satisfied with her answer and walked away from their conversation after noting he looked forward to seeing her write about Michael being innocent, once the evidence surfaces.
Back at the hospital, GH recaps for the October 10 show notes that Portia sees Dr. Frida Navarro (Christina Ferraro), the local OB, and asks her about her blood tests to confirm her pregnancy.
Navarro noted that Portia is indeed pregnant and measuring at 7 weeks.
Portia then flashes to the last time she was in bed with Curtis, as well as Isaiah Gannon (Swandi Wilson). As Jordan storms out of Drew’s office, she runs into Portia with Navarro.
Jordan leaves the hospital and heads to Aurora, and updates Curtis on her meeting with Drew.
Curtis tells her that Drew is just grasping at straws since he no longer has the blackmail on Portia, which he was dangling over her and him.
Jordan still warns Curtis that if the PCPD finds evidence that clears Michael, he’d be Drew’s next target to bring down for his shooting.
She also mentions how stressed Portia looked when she ran into her with Dr. Navarro.
Tracy is the next person to visit Lulu at Bobbie’s.
Tracy asked her stepdaughter if she got the goods on Ronnie, and Lulu handed her an envelope; however, it was information with no dirt.
Ronnie seems like a nice woman who clearly has a talent for baking pies, which is when Lulu points out that Tracy’s problem may not be with Ronnie but with Monica.
GH recaps state that after Michael arrived in the Q kitchen, after his visit with Curtis.
He and Ronnie bonded during this time as he filled her in on some family dynamics, namely, why everyone hates Drew so much.
He also talked about Drew’s seduction of Willow, and Ronnie sympathized with Michael’s situation.
Elsewhere, Sonny summoned ADA Turner to Diane Miller’s (Carolyn Hennesy) office.
Turner was confused, as she thought she was meeting with Diane, but Sonny explained he wanted to talk to her without anyone catching wind.
Sonny saw the damaging article and also warned her about prosecuting Drew’s case.
He believed she was compromised; however, Turner was a bit confused by the statement.
Sonny reminded her of the time she spent at his house, eating pizzas with Donna Corinthos (Scarlett Spears).
Shortly after dinner that night, Drew came around and threatened Sonny as Turner hid behind a door.
Drew tried to blackmail Sonny into handing over his waterfront property and warned he would arrest Michael for assault after he punched him.
Sonny didn’t adhere to Drew’s demands, but Turner certainly saw another side to the congressman and vowed to nail him.
Will Turner back away from the case?
Back to Drew, Willow visited him while on duty and told him about getting to see the kids.
When she explained the story, and how it was going to be a controlled environment, Drew warned her that this was a trap set up by Michael.
Willow acknowledged the risk she was taking but felt it was worth it.
Still, Drew didn’t seem convinced.
Finally, Portia stopped by Liz’s place.
After small talk, she not only admitted she was pregnant, but she admitted she wasn’t sure who the father was.
The two were interrupted by Anna, who had a (valid) search warrant in her hand.
As she searched the premises, Liz tried to reach Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst), but fans know that he’s a little tied up at the moment.
After Anna completed her search and had a gun-sized object in her hand, wrapped in a white cloth, she requested Liz’s attendance at the station.
As Liz asked what she had in her hand – in horror – Anna then asked where Willow was, much to the shock of both Portia and Liz.
General Hospital spoilers reveal that Willow will have some explaining to do to the police commissioner, come the Monday, October 13 episode, so it’ll be interesting to see the nurse’s face when Anna requests her presence at the PCPD – to book her for Drew’s shooting!
