General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Friday, October 3, reveals that Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will carry out a frantic mission while Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) faces a grilling session.
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will also make a new friend, so here’s what viewers can look forward to as GH finally gets back in action following all the preemptions.
Now that Monica Quartermaine’s (Leslie Charleson) photo is up on the memorial wall of the hospital, Sonny will pay his respects there.
That’ll give Sonny a chance to cross paths with Veronica “Ronnie” Bard (Erika Slezak), so they’ll form a friendly connection.
Ronnie will refuse to let Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) run her out of town, so Sonny will take her to some popular spots – including Bobbie’s, where he’ll buy her a sandwich and eventually talk about Mike Corbin (Max Gail).
At Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) house, she’ll fly into panic mode when Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) pulls that familiar dagger on her.
Alexis will get a lucky break when Ava Jerome (Maura West) reappears and hurls a sizzling beverage in Ric’s face.
That’ll throw Ric off his game long enough for Ava to snatch a nearby tray and smack him in the head.
Ric will drop to the floor and lose consciousness once more, so Ava will help Alexis handle their latest prisoner crisis.
At the PCPD, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will put Carly through a grilling session, but Carly will have a problem with her concentrating on suspects that are too obvious.
Carly will mostly want to steer the cops’ attention away from Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson), so she’ll do her part to help him.
The same goes for Tracy, who’ll tell Michael that she’s going to protect him for Monica’s sake – even if Tracy suspects Michael isn’t being completely honest about the night of Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) shooting.
In exchange for her help, Tracy will hope Michael’s willing to let her stick around when he inherits the Quartermaine residence from Monica.
We know Ronnie will get the house after the upcoming will reading, but Tracy will assume Michael’s going to be the new Q homeowner for now.
At GH, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will gripe about Britt slacking off on the job, especially since it’s only her first day back.
However, Britt will have a good reason since she’ll be tangled up in drama related to Nathan West’s (Ryan Paevey) return.
It’s clear that Britt knows more than she’s saying about Nathan, who doesn’t seem to be the real thing despite the DNA and fingerprints matching.
Britt will end up on a frantic mission to prevent Nathan from meeting James, so she’ll try to get Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson), Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) and Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) in her corner.
We’ll see Britt offer plenty of excuses and suggest Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) would disapprove of it all going down like this.
Britt will contend that it’s best to delay this meeting and take time to prepare instead of just throwing James and Nathan together.
Of course, James is understandably curious after years of hearing stories about his amazing dad.
That’s why James won’t be able to resist slipping into Nathan’s hospital room without anyone else’s knowledge.
Nathan will be tickled pink to meet James as they connect over their soda preferences and crack open a couple cans.
James will toast with Nathan, but all this father-son bonding could lead to disturbing news if Nathan is a baddie now!
