At the Quartermaine estate, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) engages in a heated discussion with Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer), Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero), and Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) regarding their unexpected gathering.
Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) make their entrance, while Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) secretly eavesdrops.
Their conversation is about the heightened tensions following the incident involving Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr).
As they reflect on the events that transpired, Gio steps in to express his regret for his poor decisions, hoping to earn back their trust.
Lois follows him into the foyer, where he insists that she and BLQ should stop justifying his actions.
Lois refuses to make excuses for him, fully aware that he has outgrown his childhood.
He recalls the support he received from them during his time as an orphan, which has empowered him to be independent.
He values their past care, but he no longer requires it.
It’s evident that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) harbors dislike for him, and there’s nothing they can change about that.
Meanwhile, in the main room, Ned appears to be impressed by Gio’s efforts to reconcile; Jason then decides to leave.
Dante and Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) talk in the kitchen about Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr); she mentions he’s a good kid, as is Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn).
Dante agrees Danny is good but can be reckless, similar to Jason-they discuss Jason’s character, noting he loves his kids but struggles with discipline.
Jason arrives, prompting Dante to leave, then a woman comes in and gives Sasha a summons for the custody case.
This causes her to panic about Willow possibly knowing her baby is Michael Corinthos (most recently Chad Duell)’.
Jason reassures her that’s unlikely.
Sasha questions how Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) thinks she can assist Willow’s case, and Jason explains that lawyers reach out to many people-she says Ric will be disappointed if he thinks she’d bash Michael.
Dante enters the main room and is informed that he is being overly critical of Gio; he is taken aback by how quickly they are defending him.
Olivia points out that he was quite the troublemaker at that age too- Dante believes the real problem is that everyone is just talking without taking action.
Brook Lynn interjects to remind him of the tough love he received growing up; Dante understands that his mother’s punishments were meant to help him improve.
He tells BLQ that she will realize the necessity of being strict with children once she has one herself; Olivia then approaches Gio and Lois in the foyer.
She expresses her pride in him and believes Dante will eventually understand-Dante is just upset because he recognizes himself in Gio.
In the stables, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) expresses his skepticism to Lulu about BLQ’s claim that Gio is her son.
Lulu is convinced that Camila faked her pregnancy, noting that Camila was touring in New Zealand while she was allegedly giving birth in LA.
They realize they need to track down the other members of Camila’s quartet for confirmation-as they investigate, they discover that two members have passed away.
Lulu reaches out to the surviving cello player, discussing Camila’s abrupt departure from the tour without any notice or explanation.
This incident occurred in May 2003, leading to the cancellation of the New Zealand tour; it turns out Camila was never pregnant, and they receive a photo from that time as evidence.
In the Aurora office, Drew informs Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) that if he is blackmailing Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), it must be due to her illegal actions that could jeopardize her career.
Curtis is troubled as Drew outlines the possible crimes Portia has committed and how revealing them could ruin her life.
This could also lead to serious issues for the hospital, including a major lawsuit, and could financially ruin Portia and her husband.
Curtis rejects this idea, stating that it won’t change the scandal Drew is involved in; he insists he has everything under control and believes Aurora will comply soon.
He leaves, while Curtis has recorded the conversation; outside, Drew calls Mac Scorpio (John J. York), revealing he knows who drugged him.
Nina arrives at Carly’s place, and they have a heated argument about the custody hearing; Carly is determined to address the issue right away.
Nina points out that the grandchildren are also hers and insists that Carly can’t act this way.
Carly is adamant that Willow will never recognize Drew for who he truly is and feels the need to protect her grandchildren immediately.
Nina accuses Carly of pretending to collaborate while secretly plotting against her-they clash over their intentions for their children.
Carly tells Nina she is not a real mother and never will be, leading to further conflict.
Nina refuses to lose another daughter, while Carly claims she would make sacrifices for her daughter if she were a good mother.
Nina finds it ironic coming from someone as self-centered as Carly; then Carly confronts Willow about her past in Nixon Falls, criticizing her for being a bad mother.
She believes Willow will just follow Drew without question, then Carly insists that Willow isn’t fit to be a mother; Nina notices this and Carly slaps her.
They both grab each other’s arms and tumble over the couch and continue to wrestle in a blonde blur!
The wrestling match threatens to become even more violent!
Just as Nina is about to hit Carly with a scented candle, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) intervenes and stops her.
Nina vows to take any action necessary to thwart Carly and exits in a huff.
While cleaning up, Carly shares her plan to seek emergency custody amid the ongoing scandal involving Drew.
Josslyn suggests that Carly should inform Michael about her decision.
However, Carly expresses her concern that Michael might lose custody for good, yet she remains resolute about not reaching out to him, wanting to manage the situation on her own.
In the rehearsal space at the ball, Willow confides in Sonny that she wishes to avoid a contentious custody battle, but Michael is set on taking her children.
Sonny acknowledges that Carly has overstepped and encourages Willow to wait for Michael’s return to discuss a potential compromise.
He clarifies that Michael has expressed he doesn’t seek full custody.
However, Willow doubts his willingness to negotiate, noting that when she visited, he declined to meet with her.
Sonny advises her to let the matter rest and request a delay until Michael can return to advocate for himself-she considers this suggestion favorably.
Nina bursts in, her face marked with bruises, which happened during the incident with Carly – she is resolute in her desire to keep the children.
Willow asserts that this situation highlights the impossibility of reaching any agreement with Carly; fueled by determination, she insists that Ric must intensify his efforts and storms away.
A heated exchange ensues between Nina and Sonny regarding the unstable nature of his ex-wife.
He warns that Willow’s panicked departure could jeopardize her custody of the kids.
Sonny reveals that he came to offer Willow one final opportunity – if she ends up losing her children, Nina will have to take responsibility for it.
