General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) may secretly record Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) bribing Jacinda (Paige Herschell). Will Kai Taylor’s (Jens Austin Astrup) tip pay off and give Drew the upper hand?
GH fans know Kai put his loyalty to Drew above his loyalty to Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali).
Instead of protecting Trina’s family, Kai blabbed to Drew about Curtis’ Jacinda scheme and set the stage for more trouble.
Curtis hopes Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) can find Jacinda so that he can bribe her into helping with his plan.
The goal is to have Jacinda lie that Drew paid her for their night of passion and claim he willingly took the drugs.
However, Curtis’ plot seems poised to go awry now that Kai’s been running his mouth to Drew.
Although Drew doesn’t know all the details, he knows enough to set a trap and potentially back Curtis into another corner.
If Felicia brings Jacinda back to Port Charles and gives Curtis the crucial meeting that he wants, Drew may make some sneaky moves.
It’s easy to imagine Drew planting a recording device – maybe even with Kai’s help.
Regardless, Drew might secretly record Curtis’ private conversation with Jacinda.
Perhaps Drew could get proof of Curtis offering to pay Jacinda to tell this bogus story – and he may get evidence of Jacinda agreeing if she goes along with it.
During the week of July 7-11, Drew’s going to score major leverage against a foe.
That could involve gaining a big advantage over Curtis and escalating the feud that’s already been playing out.
Whatever the case, it sounds like Drew will find some way to stay in control here.
Kai’s tip is going to benefit Drew and work against Curtis, so Trina will be livid when she gets updates on the news of his betrayal.
Although Kai may defend his actions, Trina is going to blow her top and wonder if Drew’s always going to come first for him.
