General Hospital Spoilers Week of January 5: Willow’s Trial Gets Wild, New Evidence Dilemma, Sidwell Forces Exits

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of January 5-9 reveal that Willow Cain’s (Katelyn MacMullen) trial will get wild. There’ll also be a new evidence dilemma while Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) forces some departures, so here’s what GH fans can expect.

Let’s start with Laura Collins (Genie Francis) since she’ll have to carry out some new orders for Sidwell As Laura falls deeper into Sidwell’s grip for now, she may give Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) another nudge to take that six-month teaching gig in Dublin.

Since Laura also wants Ace Cassadine (Karis and Kiernan Barry) as far away from Sidwell as possible, she might push Kevin to take Ace too and use a nanny to care for him while Kevin’s at work.

Over with Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr), he may find himself feeling conflicted now that Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) has admitted she saw Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).

Rocco might grill Charlotte for more information and wonder if he should bring Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) in the loop.

It looks like Rocco will have some loose lips as this storyline moves along, but Charlotte will like knowing where her dad is in the meantime and may plan another visit to Valentin soon.

In captivity, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will decide to scheme her way out of there with an escape plan.

Unfortunately, Anna’s efforts will lead to more trouble than she bargained for since Sidwell and Pascal (Marc Forget) will have some surprising new ways to control her.

Over with Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), they’ll continue playing detective and will ultimately realize they’re sitting on some key evidence in Willow’s case.

Trina and Kai will know who Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) shooter is, but it won’t be as simple as taking their proof to the cops.

GH spoilers say Kai and Trina will do something shocking once they come to this realization.

Perhaps the most shocking thing Trina and Kai could do is bury the proof instead of telling the police.

Kai and Trina might determine that Willow really did shoot Drew, but they may be wary of outing their own presence at the house that night.

Whether this new evidence involves the Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star ringtone coming from Willow’s phone instead of Drew’s or something else, Trina and Kai may decide to keep their mouths shut.

At Willow’s trial, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will fight hard for Willow with the help of a new tactic.

Jacinda Bracken’s (Paige Herschell) testimony could change everything if Alexis can trip her up and get her to admit her alibi deception.

That could put Michael in a terrible situation once he’s on the stand next – and Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) won’t have an easy time either once Alexis calls her as a witness again.

As for ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor), she’ll use Drew’s ego to her advantage somehow.

Justine will go after Willow through Drew, so Alexis will still have reasons to worry as this trial winds down.

General Hospital spoilers say this is all building to a big reveal for fans involving Drew’s real shooter, so stick with us for updates on the eye-opening news ahead.
