General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Thursday, August 7, hints that a Professor Henry “Hank” Dalton (Daniel Goddard) operation will be sabotaged while Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri’s (Giovanni Mazza) true love match may be revealed. Guilty Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) will also get grilled, so here’s what GH fans can expect.
Now that Kristina has tanked Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) and Cody Bell’s (Josh Kelly) budding romance, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will wonder if she’s having second thoughts about that.
Even if Kristina pretends she has no regrets, it’s obvious that some guilt’s been creeping in.
Alexis may pick up on that as she questions Kristina and worry her daughter’s making too much of a mess with her Ava Jerome (Maura West) seduction scheme.
Speaking of Ava, she’ll have a test in mind for Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst).
There’s a good chance Ric’s going to prove his inability to stay away from Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), so he may crash and burn on his test outcome.
Over with Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper), she’ll bring Laura Collins (Genie Francis) up to speed on some news related to Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota).
Laura will have reservations about a gamble Jordan plans to take, but Jordan may refuse to back down from the tricky Sidwell situation on the horizon.
As for Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), he’ll play with fire when he faces Sidwell and delivers what could be considered a threat.
Sidwell will make it clear that he doesn’t appreciate it and will try to put some fear in Drew as a result.
Next, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will resort to some sabotage when it comes to the Dalton operation Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) is planning.
Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) will be brought in the loop as Anna seeks help protecting Emma from another disaster.
However, it’s Gio who intends to sneak in Dalton’s lab while Emma’s attending the special lecture.
This is the best way to avoid raising red flags, but Gio could land in more trouble than he bargained for if he’s not careful.
In the meantime, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) will sound the alarm to Emma when it comes to Dalton and his gross behavior.
Since Trina will believe Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) claims about Dalton hitting on her, she won’t think Emma should take Joss’ old job.
At some point, Emma will divulge to Trina how she really feels about Gio.
It sounds like Emma will admit she’s falling hard, so Emma and Gio just might be a true love match if they stay on this path.
Back with Anna, she’ll rely on some sneaky string-pulling to get what she wants.
That could involve that Emma protection plot we mentioned, but it’s also possible it’ll connect to the WSB mission at the Five Poppies Resort.
Elsewhere, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will have some important updates for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), so she may fill him in on the latest Deception meeting.
Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) was outvoted on turning the evidence over to the PCPD, so Brook Lynn may insist it’s not happening and assure Sonny that he’s in the clear.
Unfortunately, General Hospital spoilers say Sonny still has plenty of problems ahead of him, so don’t miss what’s in store for the mob boss!
