General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for the week of May 19-23 reveals that Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) will face an awful twist while the Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) secret ends up ready to blow. It seems Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will also get some unexpected intel, so let’s discuss what’s ahead in Port Charles.
First, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will lose her temper in a big way while facing off with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) over all the custody drama.
After Nina smacks Carly across the face, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will arrive and get updates on everything that’s been going on in Carly’s world.
Once Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) stands up to Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) over Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) blackmail situation, he’ll face a big decision later in the week.
Fans will also see Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) flip out over Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) summoning her to court.
When Sasha realizes Ric wants her to testify at Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael Corinthos’ (last played by Chad Duell) hearing, she’ll fear the worst.
Since Sasha and Jason are trying to keep up a fake baby daddy charade, she’ll spill her concerns and get some reassurance from Jason.
Next, Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) will get some new information that relates to her attempt to prove Gio is Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) child.
After Lulu gathers intel with Cody Bell’s (Josh Kelly) help, she’ll watch Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) like a hawk soon after.
Lulu will see more clues piling up when it comes to Lois’ grandmotherly behavior toward Gio and could be tempted to confront her eventually.
On May 20, the Nurses Ball will get started with a fun red-carpet event, which will be hosted by Nina and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).
You can bet that’ll bring some tension and awkwardness as Drew and Nina try to keep the peace.
Of course, it wouldn’t be the Nurses Ball if Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) wasn’t tackling some big problem, so she’ll indeed find herself in a challenging situation.
After Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) gets thrown a curveball, Kristina will be shocked over some huge news.
It sounds like Kristina is about to find out Ava Jerome (Maura West) has been blackmailing Alexis, who knows her daughter cut the brakes on Ric’s car by mistake.
Those papers to have Kristina committed will suddenly make a lot more sense to her!
Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will also put a plan in motion while Carly trades introductions with Vaughn (Bryce Durfee).
Josslyn will no doubt face Carly’s grilling session if she gets caught in an intense conversation with Vaughn somewhere private.
Willow and Josslyn will also have a Nurses Ball showdown somewhere at the event, so viewers will want to pass the popcorn for that.
Musical artist YDE will perform – and there’ll be another surprise guest who’s sure to delight GH fans later.
Before the Nurses Ball winds down, there’ll be a major revelation – one that’s sure to change lives permanently.
Thanks to Lulu’s digging, the secret about Gio being Dante and Brook Lynn’s son seems to be on the verge of coming out.
As for Trina Robinson (Brook Kerr), she’ll have reasons to be concerned about Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup).
Kai is hoping to get discharged in time for the Nurses Ball, but he might check himself out anyway if his doctors don’t approve.
Either way, Kai will be determined to be there for Trina, but things seem to be going a little too well in his surgery recovery.
Could a serious setback still be on the horizon?
Finally, a mystery caller will get Jason on the phone and could perhaps offer some critical information.
Could this have something to do with the attempts on Sonny’s life?
Jason is hoping to figure out who blew up the penthouse and sent someone to wipe Sonny off the map in Los Angeles, so maybe this mystery caller will have some clues.
