General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Ryan Paevey (Nathan West) recently talked about evil Nathan and the Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) wild card, so the GH star spilled what he hopes is next. Let’s take a look at Paevey’s new interview with Woman’s World and discuss what he wants for his character’s future.
For starters, Ryan Paevey acknowledged that in the past, Nathan was very intertwined with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms).
With Maxie off canvas for the time being, it’s giving Nathan a chance to explore a more personal storyline – one that hasn’t entirely come into focus yet.
Although Paevey confessed that he doesn’t know the details of what’s ahead for his character, he’d clearly be on board with Nathan taking a sinister turn.
Nathan got his badge back and is working as a detective again, but that doesn’t mean he’s still a good guy.
After cracking a joke about the PCPD’s “questionable judgment,” Paevey hinted about his excitement over Nathan possibly being a baddie.
“Look, Faison’s a beautiful wild card, and wouldn’t it be rad if Nathan turned out to be evil? Everybody likes Nathan, and being liked is very usable. That would be a hell of a way to infiltrate the circles of all these fine, upstanding citizens and gain their trust and gain access,” Paevey pointed out.
Paevey seems to like the fact that so many questions are still swirling around Nathan’s time away and his current motives.
Despite being in the dark on the whole Nathan truth so far, Paevey’s eager for more news to come to light.
Paevey suggested that “should Nathan ever get to dip his toe in the dark side,” it’ll be fun to play enemies with cast members that he already enjoys working with.
It sounds like Ryan Paevey’s rooting for some disturbing layers to be peeled back when it comes to Nathan.
The show’s definitely been offering up some unsettling clues about Nathan not being quite the hero he used to be!
