Mitch was left hurt when Charity was voted off. She was his biggest ally. Mitch’s other friends had all convinced him that vote was against Sai and so he voted against Sai. Which he now had to walk back tonight. Sai was wondering who voted for her. Mitch wasn’t the only one to do so, but he didn’t want her to find out from someone else. He later sought her out. He explained that he was told to vote against her. It was blindside that he wasn’t a part of, but now Sai doesn’t trust him. She said Mitch voted against her twice. The last person that did that was Cedrek and she voted against him on the same night Mitch threw her new name out.
Sai didn’t have the numbers against Cedrek. She just wanted to trip him up. It’s why she wrote in cursive because Cedrick has seen her handwriting and he wouldn’t think it was her if he didn’t recognize the script. It worked because it fooled Cedrek. He genuinely thought someone else voted against him. He didn’t think it was Sai. She never confessed to it. He tried asking around and no one would take ownership. Not like what they did with Charity. The people that voted out Charity tried to repair the damage with Mitch.
They all lied to Mitch. Only Mitch couldn’t afford to get angry with them. He had to maintain his social game and Mitch was strongest with his social game. He was a friend to everyone. He doesn’t do bad at challenges. He could make it to the end and that worried Joe. Joe likes Mitch. They were even friends. Its just that this was a game. Joe knew he’d lose to Mitch if they were at the end. He was considering making a move against Mitch and the best person to partner up with was Sai. Sai knew she has a bad reputation on the beach.
She was tell like it is sort of person. She doesn’t focus on the social game so much. She tends to think that leads to fakery and Shauhin knew that about her. Shauhin spoke with her with cards on the table. He admitted he voted against her. He was also willing to work with her now. Sai was someone that felt she didn’t deserve to be there if people kept voting against her and so making a friend was something she needed right now. She also respected that Shauhin didn’t try to be buddy-buddy. He came with honesty and that was enough for her.
Later, the Immunity Challenge created additional drama. The whole tribe was split into two teams. The last one standing in both teams wins individual immunity. The last standing out of both teams wins peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for his whole team. It came down from David on the purple team to Joe on the orange team. They set a new record in how long they held on before Joe gave up. Joe losing also meant that his team went to Tribal Council first. The purple team got to go second. And two people were going to be eliminated tonight.
After the challenge, the purple team headed towards their reward. They got more than sandwiches. They got juice and other snacks as well. They enjoyed their time there even as they continued the game. There was one man who didn’t have alliances within the purple team. It was Cedrek. Cedrek was the easy choice for them to vote out and so Kyle was wondering if it was too easy. He considered making a play for Shauhin. Shauhin once searched Kyle’s bag looking for an idol. He also lied about searching the bag to Kyle’s face and Kyle couldn’t trust him after that.
The orange team also came up with an easy choice. None of them were close to Sai. Sai might have started a budding relationship with Shauhin, but the others weren’t fond of her and nor did they want to get to know her. They all went into tonight council knowing she was an easy choice. They also knew whoever got voted out first wouldn’t make it to the jury at the end and Sai has way too many enemies. They were worried she’d vote against them when it mattered. And even Sai knew her time was up.
Kyle meanwhile came to a decision. He wanted to target Shauhin. He knew he had Kamilla. They were allies from the start and so they just needed to convince David. David was close to Shauhin. To get him to change his mind, they instead had to make David doubt Shauhin. They told David that Shauhin has an idol. They also mentioned that Shauhin was a dangerous player. He has allies all over the place. David had to think about it and he eventually came to side with the anti-Shauhin movement because he knew that his friend would go along with a plan right until he made his own moves.
The orange team wasn’t doing too well either. They sent Chrissy in to fool Sai. They let Sai think she has an ally and that they were going to vote Mitch. The real plan was to vote out Sai. But Sai did make some strong points to Chrissy about how dangerous Mitch was. Mitch also has a block a vote. He was planning on using it for Sai and he told Joe as much. Joe had some misgivings about Mitch earlier. He wasn’t sure if he should aim for Mitch or take the easy route with Sai. It wasn’t until council that everyone showed their hands.
Mitch used his block a vote. The orange team chose the easy thing. They voted out Sai and the worst part was that Sai saw it coming when she wasn’t allowed to vote. Up until then, Sai thought she could really trust Chrissy. Chrissy never played games with anyone else before and so Sai thought she was honest and like someone said tonight that honesty doesn’t win you “Survivor”. Sai was out. It was then the purple team’s turn to vote someone out and there was no telling who David was lying to.
David didn’t trust Shauhin, but that was ultimately his friend and so he talked Kyle and Kamilla into voting with him. They too chose the easy thing. They voted out Cedrek. He never saw it coming.
Mary was the last OG Vula standing.
