The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) recap for Friday, June 20, reveals that Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) dropped some paperwork by Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) mansion, which gave her a chance to cross paths with Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig).
Taylor took the opportunity to mention Nick Marone (Jack Wagner) and what she assumed was a pleasant surprise visit for Brooke.
Although Taylor played Nick’s great timing and the possibility of his Brooke reunion, Brooke was more interested in talking about Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) jealousy.
At Forrester Creations, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) let Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) smell Daphne Rose’s (Murielle Hilaire) latest cologne sample and stressed the importance of bringing her back to LA.
Ridge agreed as he showed up and joined the conversation.
Although Carter mentioned Hope for the Future and hoped it could be revived, Steffy wasn’t ready to commit to that yet.
Talk turned back to Daphne, so Steffy pointed out that Carter was engaged to Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) now.
Steffy didn’t think Daphne would pull anything, so she urged Carter to help Hope get past what happened with her.
After Carter got a text, he said Hope wanted to see him and took off.
Ridge spoke with Steffy alone about catching Brooke with Nick, so Steffy’s eyes bugged out thinking the encounter was a passionate one.
It briefly brought a scandalous misunderstanding.
Ridge clarified that it was just a conversation, but he was worried about Nick breaking Brooke’s heart and sailing off again.
Steffy quickly picked up on Ridge’s jealousy and worried about the message that he was sending Taylor.
At Il Giardino on Friday’s B&B episode, Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) admired Hope’s engagement ring, but he wondered if she was sure about marrying Carter.
Hope insisted she was and tried to sell Deacon on Carter being a good man.
Deacon was happy if Hope was happy, but he still had some concerns and brought up Carter’s kiss with Daphne.
Carter showed up thinking Hope wanted to see him, but Deacon insisted he was the one instead.
Deacon needed to get something off his chest and talked about how important his daughter’s happiness was to him.
Carter wanted happiness for Hope too, so Deacon warned him not to screw up again and shook his hand.
After Carter talked about his life being incomplete without Hope, he flashed back to Steffy’s pressure to get Hope past her Daphne hangups.
