The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) recap for Monday, April 28, reveals that Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) hinted at a Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) wedding in a livestream interview before Eric Forrester (John McCook) ultimately made a confession.
Following the fashion show, Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) gave Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) updates on how she accidentally got locked in the vault with Brooke.
Since Brooke was desperate to get out, Taylor assumed it was because of the showstopper.
Steffy fumed over Brooke stealing the spotlight and wondered how she pulled it off.
Once Brooke changed out of the showstopper dress, she rejoined Ridge and got his praise for saving the day.
As Ridge and Brooke did a livestream interview together on Monday’s B&B episode, Steffy and Taylor watched on a monitor.
When asked about the possibility of Brooke wearing this Portofino-inspired gown at a much bigger event – clearly implying a wedding – Brooke said with Ridge, you never know!
In a backstage area, Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) praised Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire) since her perfumes were creating so much buzz.
Daphne wound up planting a kiss on Carter to celebrate as Katie Logan (Heather Tom) gaped at them in the distance.
During her own livestream interview, Steffy tried to steer attention away from Brooke’s showstopper moment and back onto Forrester’s triumphant couture comeback.
When Steffy and Taylor spoke with Katie about Brooke’s sneaky showstopper move, Katie acted like her sister came to the rescue.
Once Eric and Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) said their goodbyes to Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) in the CEO office, they had a conversation with Ridge, Brooke and Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz).
Zende shared the news that Forrester was trending on social media along with Brooke and Ridge.
After Steffy and Taylor popped up, the topic of Brooke stealing her big moment on the runway came up.
Eric confessed that he was behind it since he was inspired to revamp the Portofino dress of the past and wanted to make a huge splash at this fashion show.
After Brooke suggested Eric came to her with the idea at the last minute, Ridge wondered if that was the reason for the showstopper delay.
Taylor filled Ridge in on the accidental vault lock-in that nearly ruined Eric’s surprise.
Eric declared that they changed the narrative and that no one was talking about the takeover anymore.
Steffy complained since she didn’t feel Brooke’s inclusion was needed to make sure that happened.
Nevertheless, Eric stood his ground about it being the right call and played up Brooke’s history with Ridge.
As far as Eric was concerned, Brooke came through for them and saved the event.
In a moment alone with Eric, Brooke gushed over feeling the magic with Ridge earlier and insisted he remembered what they shared.
Eric continued to make hopeful predictions about Brooke and Ridge ending up together.
Meanwhile, Taylor talked to Ridge about all the attention the showstopper got since the woman everyone wanted to see him with was wearing it.
However, Ridge argued it was just a dress and pointed out he had his own romantic history with Taylor.
After Ridge did his best to reassure Taylor about their relationship, he thought back to being on the runway with Brooke.
Elsewhere, Brooke also recalled being with Ridge in front of the crowd and muttered to herself about the unforgettable experience.
