The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Monday, February 17, reveals that Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) will refuse to bow down to the Forresters while Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) provokes Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor).
Although Carter’s conscience has been telling him to make things right and restore the Forrester legacy, he won’t actually go through with it on Monday’s show.
That may be partly because of Ridge’s snide comments and all the ways he’ll try to get under Carter’s skin.
Ridge may offer a reminder of why Carter stole power away in the first place by resorting to more Hope name-calling.
It seems likely Ridge will spew some Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) criticism too and launch an argument with Carter.
Carter may continue to deal with some guilt – especially now that he’s been mulling over Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) stapler – but he won’t give power back to the Forresters yet.
That could change eventually, but Carter will stand with Hope for the time being.
Meanwhile, Hope will complain to Brooke about her fight with Carter and may end up hurling some accusations at her mom.
Will Hope realize Brooke’s partly responsible for Carter’s conscience weighing on him so heavily?
Whatever the case, Hope will refuse to bow down to the Forresters and may resolve to get Carter committed to their grand plans again.
There’s no way Hope’s going to apologize and answer to Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) or even Ridge at this point.
Other B&B spoilers say Steffy and Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) will share their thoughts on Brooke in Monday’s episode.
Taylor and Steffy will be in agreement when it comes to what’s motivating Brooke’s actions lately.
Brooke is determined to convince Carter that he has to undo the coup.
It’s clear that Brooke’s working overtime to make sure the Forresters regain control of the company, but Taylor and Steffy will assume her motives are purely selfish.
Since Brooke wants to reunite with Ridge so badly, Steffy and Taylor will think that’s what her whole mission boils down to.
Even so, Taylor may make a prediction about holding onto Ridge’s heart no matter what Brooke pulls off!
