The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) recap for Wednesday, December 3, reveals that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) threw Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) out of Forrester Creations before Eric Forrester (John McCook) made a co-designer pitch.
In the CEO office, Ridge and Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) discussed some surprise retirement party plans for Eric, who arrived with Donna Logan Forrester (Jennifer Gareis) and wanted to speak with his son.
After Ridge heard Bill ranting in the design office, he marched over there and interrupted his venting session with Katie Logan (Heather Tom).
Bill insisted he was there to defend Katie and went on a tirade about the Forresters underappreciating her.
Katie confessed that she felt blindsided over the outside PR team news, but Ridge acted like they were just trying to help her.
After Bill said Ridge ran the place like a circus ringmaster, he threw more Katie-related complaints around.
Ridge eventually declared this was a fashion house and not a battlefield, so he ordered Bill to go home.
Instead, Bill headed back to Spencer Publications with Katie and finally calmed down a bit.
Although Bill would love for Katie to return to her true family business, he didn’t want to pressure her.
No matter what Katie decided, Bill made it clear that he’d always have her back.
Back at Forrester Creations on Wednesday’s B&B episode, Donna spoke to Brooke privately about Eric still designing at home all the time.
Eric wanted to make real contributions at Forrester again, so Donna played up the idea and thought he could help take the pressure off Ridge.
In the CEO office, Ridge kept having to take phone calls and struggled to give Eric the attention he was seeking.
Eric eventually took a look at Ridge’s latest designs and hinted about Ridge having too much to do on his own.
Since Ridge was drowning in work, Eric pushed his son to let him back in. Eric wanted to be more than just a company figurehead; he wanted to be a co-designer.
Ridge seemed pensive as Eric made a pitch for them to join forces and make history again with their couture teamwork.
