The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Wednesday, February 5, reveals that Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) forced Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) new game plan while John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) raged at Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park).
In Finn’s office on Wednesday’s B&B episode, he accused Poppy of knowing all along that Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) was his daughter. Poppy insisted she didn’t, but Finn knew she must’ve suspected it from the start.
Although Poppy tried to act like the DNA result must be a false positive, Finn showed her the second paternity test stick and offered more proof.
Poppy eventually admitted she didn’t want to derail Finn’s future and played up the wonderful life he had now.
Finn admitted he indeed had a wonderful life with Steffy and the kids, but he still had a huge problem with Poppy keeping his daughter from him and flew into a rage over it.
While Finn yelled at Poppy, Luna sat down with a sandwich in Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) living room.
When Luna heard Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) entering with Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) after a tour of the grounds, she hid and eavesdropped.
Will wound up chatting with Electra about how weird it was for Bill to be out of the office so much.
At one point, Will also noticed someone had made something in the kitchen, which was odd since Bill usually let the servants handle that.
Since Bill was becoming reclusive lately, Will had a hunch this went back to what his dad went through with Luna. That led to Will recapping Luna’s paternity fake-out and the fact that she was in prison now.
At Forrester Creations, Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) invited Hope to weigh in on the two scent choices Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire) was offering.
Hope sniffed both sides of Daphne’s neck and liked the second one best, which was the same fragrance Carter preferred as well. As Hope gushed over how in sync they were, Daphne didn’t look happy about it.
After Hope offered up some launch ideas, Carter approved and basically praised Hope for appreciating his vision.
In the design office, Steffy hinted to Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) about recruiting a dear friend for help with her Carter and Hope mission.
Once Daphne entered and met Zende, he insisted he already knew her reputation and called her alluring.
After Zende left, Daphne mentioned that he was handsome and told Steffy that the Forrester men never disappoint.
Steffy wanted a progress report, so Daphne gave her updates on some difficult news.
Although Daphne was confident in her abilities, she mentioned how connected Hope and Carter were since they were two peas in a pod.
Steffy suggested a strategy adjustment, so she thought they should focus on Carter’s conscience and made a prediction about making him see that Hope was using him.
