The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Wednesday, July 16, reveals that Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will be kept in the dark while Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) makes a nervous confession to Bill Spencer (Don Diamont).
After Liam’s secretly rushed to a private surgical center, Bill will ask if he’s doing OK.
Liam will reply that he thinks so, but he’ll ultimately seem overwhelmed as he confesses where his head is at.
Since Liam’s been recovering from Luna Nozawa’s (Lisa Yamada) bullet, it’ll be a lot to process now that he’s ready to undergo an experimental treatment for his brain tumor.
Everything will seem like it’s happening awfully fast, so Liam will talk about the procedure being offered by Dr. Grace Buckingham (Cassandra Creech) and some doctor he doesn’t even know yet.
Bill will get why Liam’s feeling anxious, but he’ll remind Liam that the alternatives would just delay the inevitable.
This particular surgery won’t just buy Liam more time if it actually works; it could provide a cure and keep Liam alive.
Bill will acknowledge that all this is a bit unnerving, especially since the plan required so much secrecy.
Liam may feel a little guilty about leaving Hope and Steffy in the dark since they’re the mothers of his daughters.
Nevertheless, Bill will feel confident that good news is ahead for Liam and that it’ll all be worth it in the end.
Grace will walk in on Bill’s positivity and praise his attitude since optimism goes a long way in situations like this.
After Grace admits this is unorthodox, B&B spoilers say she’ll assure Liam that some nerves are to be expected.
Even so, Grace will promise that she believes in her colleague and in the procedure that’s been developed.
While Grace preps Liam for the operating table, John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones) will have a Liam-related discussion back at the hospital.
That’ll give Bridget and Finn an opportunity to gush over how brave Liam’s been while facing so many challenges.
There’ll also be some concerns about Grace’s actions, so her cover-up regarding Liam’s hospital disappearance may set off a few alarm bells.
