The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) recap for Wednesday, June 18, reveals that Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) approached Hayes Finnegan (Bryan David Garlick) after his time on the beach with the other kids.
In a moment alone, Luna offered Hayes a gift and handed over an origami crane.
Hayes was delighted and quickly showed it to all his friends inside the beach house, where the art program was still going on.
After Hayes told Ms. Dylan (Sydney Bullock) that a nice lady gave the crane to him, she played up the idea of letting the whole class do some origami soon.
Once it was time for Hayes to leave on Wednesday’s B&B episode, Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) came to pick him up.
Luna glared at Electra and Hayes nearby, so she clearly wasn’t happy about the interaction.
At the cliff house, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) opened up to Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) about how selfless Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) was being and all the tough emotions she was feeling about his looming demise.
There was also some talk about Luna and how she’d only met Hayes a few times.
Steffy didn’t think Hayes would remember her and vowed that her son would never know who Luna was.
Electra eventually brought Hayes home from his art program, which gave him a chance to show off his origami crane and repeat that a nice lady gave it to him.
That didn’t raise any red flags for Steffy, Taylor and Electra since they assumed it was just someone walking on the beach.
Back with Ms. Dylan, she saw Luna with more origami outside the beach house and got confirmation that she was the one who gave Hayes the crane.
Since Luna was clearly good at this, Ms. Dylan asked her to come be a guest artist and help teach the class. Luna eventually agreed and introduced herself as “Sunshine.”
At Forrester Creations, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) grilled Nick Marone (Jack Wagner) about why he was back in LA.
Nick acted like he was mixing business with pleasure and suggested congratulations were in order.
Ridge questioned what Nick meant, so he pointed out that the takeover drama had been resolved and that Ridge was back together with Taylor.
Ridge was irritated over Nick fixating on his love life and wondered if Nick had a love interest of his own to get back to.
Nick said he didn’t right now, but he gazed in Brooke Logan’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) direction and seemed hopeful.
Nick noted that life at sea had always been his destiny and took a jab over Ridge knowing all about destiny, too.
After Ridge pushed Nick to leave and let them work, Nick kissed Brooke’s hand before he headed out. Brooke downplayed her interaction with Nick and acted like there was no need for jealousy.
Even so, Ridge grumbled about Nick not being a good person and warned Brooke to stay away from him.
In the end, Brooke had a mischievous glint in her eye – like maybe she thought this jealousy flareup could work to her advantage with Ridge.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Ridge’s romantic future will come with some curveballs, so stay tuned for updates on all the shocking news to come.
