The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Tanner Novlan (John “Finn” Finnegan) recently talked about Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) reaction to Luna Nozawa’s (Lisa Yamada) second chance – or at least the possibility of one! Let’s look at what Novlan told Us Weekly about the major couple crisis that’s ahead for Finn and Steffy.
For starters, Novlan pointed out how much Finn adores Steffy, Hayes Forrester Finnegan (Alexander and Chase Banks) and Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras McKinlay).
The B&B star feels like Finn’s love for his family is even stronger because of his past struggles since he grew up wondering about his bio mom, who turned out to be Sheila Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown). There’s the trauma of this forbidden night with Aunt Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park) for Finn to contend with.
According to Tanner Novlan, Finn’s messy history is fueling his need to rise above those circumstances and create a better family situation for himself.
Of course, the news that Luna is Finn’s daughter could certainly throw off his plans! Novlan hinted about Finn feeling responsible for Luna’s problems on some level and wishing he could’ve put her on a more positive path.
It’s not something Finn could control since Poppy kept Luna’s paternity a secret all these years, but Finn still wishes things could’ve played out differently.
That said, Novlan suggested that for Finn, “the most important thing in his life is to protect this family that he’s created.”
In other words, there’s going to be an inner conflict based on Finn’s desire to support Luna and his desire to shield the family he’s built with Steffy, Kelly and Hayes.
Although Finn and Steffy have always found a way to conquer the obstacles up to now, Tanner Novlan seemingly hinted that a breaking point was possible for Steffy.
The B&B actor suggested that even with a solid marriage like the one Steffy and Finn have, there’s the question of how long you stay by someone’s side with all the “external stressors” that keep happening.
Novlan also pointed out that Finn tends to give people second chances, but he’s keeping the fact that Luna tried to eliminate Steffy in mind.
Now the challenge becomes trying to balance this new daughter drama with Finn’s goal of always keeping Steffy, Hayes and Finn in the safe bubble he wants them in.
“He hasn’t forgotten that Luna has issues. So it’s gonna be interesting to see how he navigates that because we all know Steffy’s gonna draw a hard line in the sand,” Novlan said.
