The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Monday, January 27, reveals that Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) will try to take the blame for the plot to eliminate Jordan (Colleen Zenk), but Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will admit to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) that they were involved.
Victor will berate the Newman women for leaving him in the dark and will point out that the cops are going to have plenty of questions.
There’ll be some talk about the security team getting briefed and about the transfer of Jordan’s body to the morgue.
At the cottage, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will assure Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) that she’s going to get through this and will admit his mind went to a bad place when her car was found in the river.
If Sharon hadn’t made it out of all this alive, Nick won’t know what he would’ve done.
Sharon will share a hug with Nick before he heads to the main house.
That’ll leave Sharon alone while Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) is asleep upstairs. Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) will appear to Sharon again while she still has PCP in her system, so she’ll talk about her guilt over framing Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei).
However, Cameron will argue that Sharon was under the influence of drugs and suggest that forgiveness is possible – but that starts with forgiving herself.
Cameron will seem surprisingly wise and sweet as he hints that this may be their last tango.
After Cameron says it’s been a wild ride, he’ll tell Sharon “so long, baby” and give her a kiss on the cheek.
Sharon will also say goodbye to Cameron before he disappears.
Once Nick makes it to the main house and learns Jordan is dead, Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will come in with questions about her demise.
Victor will claim Jordan went looking for Claire and Victoria at the tack house because she wanted to end their lives.
Victor will also lie that Jordan took out a poison vial and downed it when she realized she was cornered.
Instead of being send back to prison, Jordan opted for a fatal way out.
When Chance asks if the poison vial is still there, Victor will claim that the police already confiscated it.
Chance will head to the tack house to do a little more investigating, so Nick and Victor will go with him.
After Victor recaps Jordan admitting her partnership with Ian Ward (Ray Wise), he’ll add that Jordan said Ian killed Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom).
Victor won’t think Ian went far and will suggest luring him out of hiding by going public with Jordan’s fatal outcome.
Chance won’t think that’s a good idea and will act like it could make Ian more volatile.
Nick will stress the importance of protecting Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes), Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) and Aria Porter Copeland (Maddie and Millie Ingle) since Ian is still on the loose.
Back at the cottage on Monday’s Y&R episode, Sharon will be taken aback when a tearful Mariah shows up looking terrified.
Mariah will admit that Tessa and Aria are missing since she couldn’t find them when she went home.
At Nate Hastings’ (Sean Dominic) place, he’ll chat with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) and Amy Lewis (Valarie Pettiford) after dessert.
Nate will have some updates to share since Damian (Nathan Owens) agreed to come to Genoa City to discuss the job offer further.
Nate will also tell Amy about Damian being the owner of the parent company of the businesses he’s been working for.
That’ll shock Amy since Damian previously seemed so down on his luck and had become unmotivated.
Since Damian is obviously a successful entrepreneur, Nate will question his motives for following up on the job offer.
Amy will point out that Damian is a smart guy and might be looking into things because he’s suspicious.
Nate will decide he needs to come clean once Damian shows up tomorrow – and he’ll think it’s time for Amy to reunite with her son, too.
Amy will be nervous about losing Damian forever, but Nate and Audra will lift her spirits with some positive predictions.
Nate will reiterate that he’s willing to look into healthcare options for Amy, who’ll be touched.
Once Amy leaves, Nate will praise Audra for her part in helping to make Amy feel better.
