The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that we’ve got a New Year’s Eve preview to pass along. The show’s gearing up for some daring moves, tricky exes and messy emotions, so here’s what Y&R fans can look forward to.
As 2025 winds down in Genoa City, there’ll be some big plans.
One GC resident in particular will hope to end the year with a bang, so let’s address what Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) will soon have in the works.
On Wednesday, December 31, Cane will decide to pull out all the stops for Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) sake.
This will serve as an opportunity for Cane to sweep Lily off her feet with a grand gesture – at least that’s what Cane will hope!
However, there could be a problem since Lily witnessed Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) kissing Cane again recently.
Lily thought Cane was finally moving on from Phyllis the night of the launch party, but he just gave her good reasons to doubt that.
Cane is also entertaining the idea of a renewed alliance with Phyllis, so that could turn into another strike against him.
Regardless, Cane may not get the desired outcome when it comes to his New Year’s Eve goals.
Lily could easily reject Cane instead and potentially opt to visit the twins elsewhere if she can’t be around him right now.
New Year’s Eve will also bring some complex feelings for Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) when it comes to Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei).
There’s a good chance the midnight countdown will lead to a kiss or perhaps some passion in the bedroom.
Although Tessa still loves Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes), she can’t live her life stuck in limbo forever.
Tessa is on an emotional rollercoaster since she’s struggling to let go of Mariah while simultaneously falling hard for Daniel.
Nevertheless, part of Tessa may learn to enjoy the ride as she grows closer to him during all the New Year’s Eve festivities.
The December 31 episode will force Tessa to confront her feelings and figure out where to go from here.
In the meantime, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will wind up discussing their history.
Sally and Adam faced their fair share of highs and lows as a couple, so they’ll reflect on some memories during an upcoming encounter.
The loss of Baby Ava as well as Adam’s cheating will likely become topics of conversation as Adam and Sally think back.
Of course, Adam has moved on with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Sally has moved on with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), so Sally and Adam may agree things worked out in the end – even if the journey was painful.
