The Young and the Restless Recap Tuesday, May 19: Victoria and Cole Agree to Live Together

The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, May 19 tease skepticism, decisions, and questions. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is skeptical, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) makes a decision and Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) has questions.

Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) visits the new ranch and impresses Victor with a chocolate croissant, intending to discuss Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).

He regrets that she hasn’t canceled her plans to move in with him, and Victor feels there’s no point in discussing it; however, Claire believes he will be taken aback by her news.

Both are troubled by the tension this situation is creating in their relationship, as his approval is significant to her.

Claire has persuaded Kyle to hold off on moving in for now, wanting to be transparent with her grandfather, who values this honesty; she then requests his assistance.

Claire believes collaborating on a birthday party for Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) would mean a lot to her, and Victor agrees, though he remains doubtful about Claire’s true intentions for the celebration.

Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) meets Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Victoria at Crimson Lights – Nick jokes about thinking Cole was dead, Cole admits he was scared but feels strong again after his quarantine.

Victoria wants to keep an eye on him and suggests he move into the tack house to live together as a family.

Cole is surprised and thought their daughter was moving out, but Victoria says that’s on hold-he reminds her that her other kids live there too.

She replies, allegedly; they had already discussed this, and the kids thought he was living there, as did Nick who leaves them to sort it out.

Victoria tells Cole that their daughter wants them to be happy and knows he makes her happy.

She felt his absence while he was away; he realizes this could be their only chance to live together-the fact that he misses her is enough reason to move in.

After sharing a kiss, she expresses how difficult it was to be apart while he healed and promises that she will be there for him next time he is unwell.

They reflect on their journey and acknowledge that they truly belong together-they then talk about Victor’s issues with Kyle and Claire, which feels familiar.

As they stand up, he almost stumbles but reassures her that he is fine.

Kyle meets Holden at Society and praises his work at Jabot, offering to buy him a drink.

As they chat at the bar, Audra Charles arrives and is surprised to see them together.

She approaches them, and they discuss drinks and Metallica -Kyle asks how long they have known each other, but they clarify they are not friends.

Audra makes some jabs at Kyle, calling Holden forgettable and saying the Abbott is a waste of her time.

Holden mentions their past, but Kyle insists he has moved on and isn’t concerned about her.

Audra acknowledges his maturity, and Holden suggests it’s best for everyone to get along.
