The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, June 13, reveal that two familiar faces will return while Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) plan fails. Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will also make a vow, so let’s discuss all the drama ahead.
At Nate Hastings’ (Sean Dominic) place, he’ll share some news with Lily, Devon Winters (Bryton James) and Abby Winters (Melissa Ordway).
Nate will admit Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) got a last-minute invitation to Aristotle Dumas’ party, so that could leave all of them with questions about how she really pulled that off.
Despite Audra’s claim that Dumas was interested in her perfume faceoff pitch, Nate and the others may not be so sure about that.
The fact that Audra was so adamant about Nate skipping the bash may leave him with growing concerns, too.
As for Devon, he’ll make it clear that he’s going to protect Winters from any stunts Dumas might try to pull.
Since their family legacy is on the line, Devon will refuse to let Dumas or anyone else do serious damage.
Of course, Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) already assured them that Dumas wasn’t out to harm Winters.
According to Amanda, Dumas is looking out for Winters instead and has a great deal of respect for all parties involved there.
That makes sense considering everything points to Dumas actually being a Cane Ashby recast played by Billy Flynn.
However, Devon will stay in the dark on that for now – and that means he’ll stay on guard as well.
The same goes for Lily, who’ll once again vow to get to the bottom of Dumas’ real identity and agenda during this trip.
Lily will refuse to come home without the information they’re after, so she’ll show off her determination.
At Crimson Lights, Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) will get a big surprise when he walks in and finds two familiar faces.
Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) and Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) will return to Y&R on Friday’s episode, so Daniel will be excited over this happy reunion.
As for Phyllis, she’ll have a plan that fails thanks to Tessa Porter’s (Cait Fairbanks) lack of cooperation.
Tessa will dig her heels in against Phyllis when they have a disagreement.
It’s possible Phyllis will make another pitch for Tessa to essentially spy on Daniel for her.
Since Phyllis is headed to Dumas’ party in Nice, she may push Tessa to watch out for Daniel and report back if anything catastrophic happens.
Tessa might contend that she isn’t Daniel’s babysitter and suggest he’s perfectly capable of taking care of himself while Phyllis is gone.
Phyllis is always going to be a protective mom, but she’ll have to tear herself away from Daniel and focus on all the action in Dumas’ chateau soon enough.
