The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for the week of May 19-23 reveals that Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will get a fierce warning – and there’ll be a special romantic episode as well. Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will also strike out when it comes to scoring business venture help, so let’s discuss all the shockers and setbacks.
For starters, Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will raise more suspicions with her cagey behavior.
Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will quickly pick up on the fact that Amanda seems to have something to hide, so she’ll definitely want to know more.
Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will have growing suspicions about this Aristotle Dumas being much more complicated than he thought.
Despite Phyllis’ attempt to get help scoring a meeting with Dumas, Amanda will push her to move on instead and claim Dumas told her that he wasn’t interested.
Over with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), she’ll make a choice related to her romance with Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck).
If Cole’s medical results are grim, that could motivate Victoria to keep him close and maybe even get engaged eventually.
Next, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will have another run-in with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver), so we’ll see if Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) might witness it.
Regardless, Holden will put Kyle through a grilling session about his history with Audra soon enough.
On May 21, Y&R will deliver a special romantic episode that features Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) wonderful surprise for Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), which will be part of her birthday celebration.
Michael and Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) will also live in their own romantic bubble for a while in this special episode while Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) moves Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) to tears with an amazing gift.
Something tells us Jack might offer up a portrait of Diane to cement her status as an Abbott, so it could become the final piece of the mansion renovations.
After Abby Winters (Melissa Ordway) gets updates on Amanda’s return to town, she’ll clash with her and express her distrust of Dumas.
Amanda will rush to Dumas’ defense and assure Abby that he wants to protect Winters, but Abby will remain on edge.
Back with Lauren, she’ll have more concerns about her marriage.
Michael will have another heated confrontation with Victor, who’ll end up dishing out a serious warning.
Could Michael eventually decide he’s had enough and walk away from Victor?
If Michael quits, there’ll be no more guardrails to stop Victor from spiraling out of control in his feud against the Abbotts.
As for Claire Newman (Hayley Erin), she’ll keep up her party plans and sound the alarm to Kyle about the trap he’s setting for Audra.
Claire may ask Kyle not to go through with it, but he seems poised to do it anyway.
