In the next Watson episode, the Holmes Clinic once rejected Olivia Fitzgerald’s case as a patient because she was a child. They didn’t have pediatricians in their clinic.

One of the twins sent her to a pediatrician. It took months and the man never found out what was wrong with Olivia. Her father went back to the clinic. He asked for help again.

Sasha agreed to look at the case and get back to them. She never did so. Sergeant William Fitzergald came back to the clinic again. He finally got the chance to speak to Dr. Watson himself. He asked for help for his daughter and Watson agreed to look at the case the moment he was done with his current patient. And again it went nowhere.

Watson gave an assessment. He offered a referral in Wisconsin. The family couldn’t afford to go there. Eventually, eleven months passed for Olivia without getting any kind of help because no one could find what was wrong with her.

Her father finally had enough. He wanted the very best for his daughter and so he strapped a bomb to himself to demand just that from the Holmes Clinic. He showed right as they were experiencing time off. Watson was told he works too much. He also pushes his team a little too far sometimes.

HR had a word with him. Watson then came up with the idea of Reflection, Recovery, and Renewal. It was supposed to be a day of relaxation with no cases. No patients. Ingrid’s hookup/therapy partner was another sociopath like her. He doesn’t take treatment seriously. Nor did he understand boundaries.

He told Ingrid he had an appointment with Watson and that’s not true. He again wanted to sell something. He always wanted to sell something. He was there when Fitz came in with the bomb.

Beck had the chance to leave because he wasn’t a doctor. He was just in the way. He didn’t take the opportunity because he said he dealt with problems and was good there.

It seems Beck thought he could take out Fitz. He was wrong about that. Fitz was military trained. Beck merely has a personality disorder. It didn’t suddenly give him powers and so he really was in the way. Fitz could probably see he was a troublemaker because he tied Beck to a chair. He then had the doctors treat his daughter.

Fitz raised Olivia. He loves Olivia. He was her father in every possible way. He simply wasn’t her biological father. He served with her mother and her bio dad. Olivia came back from an affair.

Her bio dad was married at the time to someone else. Fitz also never dated Olivia’s mother. He was the guy that took her in after her mom died. He was still her father. He just didn’t know her medical history before the age of five. He also didn’t know what type of cancer her mom had when she died. He had no clue about the medical history.

Olivia needed surgery right away because her spleen ruptured. Watson needed a surgical team. He talked to Fitz about it. Fitz allowed him to bring people in to go through with the surgery.

Mary made sure she was one of them. They performed surgery. They saved Olivia’s life. They still didn’t know what was wrong with her because they had an incomplete history. They checked. They found out her mother died from lymphoma after experiencing weird symptoms like Olivia did. Meaning this could be genetic.

There was simply one issue. They didn’t have her mother’s complete files. Also, her bio dad wasn’t her dad at all. Fitz was actually the bio dad. His ex simply said it was the other guy to get the checks.

They only knew Fitz was the biological father because Beck did something stupid. He escaped his restraints. He attacked Fitz and Watson had to choke him out. Beck was quickly released to the police so that he didn’t try anything stupid again. But he cut Fitz. Fitz’s blood was tested. He was the father all along.

The team also found out what Olivia had. Olivia has a super rare disorder called X-Men disease. It was caused by a warped X-chromosome. It opened her up to a disease that could be found only in men.

It sucks that took an actual bomb to get the truth out. Fitz realizing that it was his blood that could save his daughter was what got him to let go of the bomb. The doctors deescalated the situation. They saved the day. Beck was outside in front of the cameras claiming he was the hero of the day. He was the worst.

Sasha tried to warn Ingrid off him. Ingrid pretended to listen when she always planned on ignoring that advice. She went straight to Beck once everything was over.

She didn’t even notice that he began stalking Sasha. She got caught up in the adrenaline. The same for Beck. He loved that the media was calling him a hero. It was actually Watson who delivered Fitz outside to the police after both lives were saved. Olivia and her dad’s. Beck seriously injured him when he stabbed like he did. He nearly killed him. Not that Ingrid was there for that.

And Shinwell blamed himself for what happened because he bumped into Fitz before this all began. He got a bad feeling off the guy and he didn’t follow it up. He ignored it. He’ll always regret that he did so. The same way Ingrid was going to regret continuing her relationship with Beck.

THE END!
