In tonight’s Welcome to Plathville episode, Lydia and Zac’s wedding was a battle. Her family tried to talk her out of the marriage. The majority of them didn’t like Zac. The one person on his side other than Lydia was Lydia’s dad. Barry liked how religious Zac was. Zac matched Lydia’s faith as well. Lydia’s brothers were upset that Barry didn’t stand up for Lydia or that’s how they saw it. They pulled Lydia aside the night before her wedding. She tried to talk to her about the red flags they saw. Ethan was also adamant that Zac was gay.
Ethan didn’t think Lydia knew Zac well enough to figure that out herself. He therefore told her. Then he kept telling her and he got frustrated when Lydia wouldn’t listen to him. Ethan knew plenty of gay people. He claimed he doesn’t judge them. He just doesn’t want his sister to marry a closet man just because she was interested in sleeping with him. She hadnt even known Zac a year. Ethan has a lot of regrets from his own marriage. He didn’t want the same for her. He went about it the wrong way and now her back was up.
Ethan and Isaac tried to talk to Lydia by themselves. Until Zac interrupted them. Zac felt he should be a part of the conversation because he was marrying Lydia and he was going to be a part of the family. This same family often struggles with in-laws because they still see them as outsiders. Zac wasn’t going to allow that to happen to him. He interrupted their conversation. The brothers refused to talk with him in the room. Lydia was going to leave with him when her mom acted as an intermediary.
Kim talked to the boys. She then talked to Lydia. She let Lydia see that her brothers weren’t coming to this wedding unless they have this conversation. Lydia hated the position they put her in. She let them say what they what to say and then she carried on with wedding preparations. Lydia wasn’t one to change her mind. She got that from them. Not that they see it. The brothers were still upset. Ethan didn’t show until almost the last minute and he got into a heated argument with Veronica. He asked if she wasn’t going to say anything. She repeated her accusations that Teegan has an Only Fans. They both cursed at each other.
Ethan almost bragged about it to Kim. Kim had to remind him that this was Lydia’s day. The focus should be on Lydia. It shouldn’t be on drama between Ethan and Veronica. Veronica really shouldn’t have gone to the wedding. She wasn’t any better than Ethan. She saw Isaac’s girlfriend from the back and thought she was Teegan. She called her slut when she thought Teegan was walking with Micah by themselves. It insulted Micah. It Insulted Isaac. Veronica went there wanting to start drama and Micah knew that before he brought her.
Micah had said prior to the wedding that all she needs is dirt and water. It will create mud. Well, she created mud. Ethan created mud. Ethan would have objected if he hadn’t talked to Lydia. Isaac would have objected if Ethan did it. Micah had no clue what he was going to do and was glad he didn’t have to say anything at all. Lydia and Zac got married. They were now a married couple. There’s nothing her family can do to stop the relationship. Though why did they have to sing during the ceremony.
It was bad y’all. Some people, like Veronica, couldn’t help laughing during the performance. The singing wasn’t the real problem about the wedding. The wedding had issues because of Veronica and Ethan. Isaac’s girlfriend tried to make peace with Veronica and Veronica blew her off. She didn’t want to be the villain at the event. She stuck around the animals or the younger girls. She tried not to talk to anyone. Moriah sought her out. Moriah finally apologized face to face for disappearing on her when she knew Veronica was struggling with Micah.
Veronica was willing to admit that Moriah was going through a lot of stuff. She was hurting herself more than anyone else. They had a good talk that Veronica ruined when she called Isaac’s girlfriend a slut by accident. Micah stuck by Veronica after that. It upset Isaac so much that he attacked his brother later on at the reception. He put Micah in the hospital. The family was blaming Veronica for what the two men did. And so this was coming to an end of the relationship between Micah and Veronica.
