In tonight’s America’s Got Talent episode, it was Night 4 of the Auditions. The first act up was a dog act. The dog’s name is Zeke and his owner was Olivia. Olivia was just seventeen and no one wanted to burst her bubble, but her act was a little boring. The dog was cute. It wasn’t his fault.
He followed commands like he was taught and there was the surprise of the second dog joining them onstage. It was also amazing that Olivia has no formal training when she managed to train two dogs to dance with her. She was a lighthearted act. And while it didn’t receive a Golden Buzzer, she was moved onto the next round because they liked Olivia’s energy.
Olivia was a cinnamon roll. Up next was a couple. James and Marina met on a dating app and have been together ever since. They included Mel into their act because they said they constantly face sceptics.
They figured by adding Mel that no one could claim they were cheating. It turns out that Marina can literally read her husband’s mind because that’s the only possible reasoning she knew what he was looking at without ever looking with her own two eyes. Even Terry got in on it. Marina just always knew what her husband was looking at.
It didn’t matter who closed her eyes. Afterwards, Howie couldn’t help asking what dating app they used? Was it one for the magical? No one could figure out how they pulled it off and it easily won them four yesses. The couple were soon followed by Brook Lyn. She was from the Netherlands. She’s a singer. She suffers from anxiety.
She wasn’t sure if she’d have the strength to perform tonight and she did beautifully. She has an amazing voice. The nerves did get to her at first. Only she pulled off a victory tonight.
Brook Lyn was so great that her mother was crying her eyes out with pride. Mel gave her a standing ovation and it was usually hard to win both and Simon over. Brook Lyn was just that good. Everyone tonight were putting their best foot forward. Next up was Kyle Johnson. He was fifty-eight years old. He was confident. He wanted to surprise the judges with his act and his act has been seen before. He was dancing with giant puppets. The last person that tried it had made it into the second round where he was ultimately eliminated.
Its also why most of the judges pressed their reject button. They didn’t want to watch a moment of this any longer. Mel was willing to give the guy a break. The others disagreed. There was also a guy who played his throat to Terry’s song. Mel was quick with her reject button then. She also pressed it for the guy performing in a demonic tone. Most of the judges pressed the reject for that one. The audience even had a member pass out because that thing tone scared them. They were getting the greats until they started get a bunch of no’s.
Next up was Herwan. He wanted to leave his act as a surprise too. His act ended up scaring more people than demonic voice guy. He was an aerialist/daredevil really. He swallowed a bunch of swords while high up in the air and the judges were left scared. They didn’t want to see what he does next in spite being compelled to keep watching. They really enjoyed Herwan’s act. They just didn’t know what to call it. It was bits and pieces combined for the first time and so they asked Herwan the name for what he did. And he said “that’s me”.
There was no official name for what he pulled out. Herwan earned every bit of those four yesses. Its going to be terrifying when he tops it in the next round. Next up was a singing duo. They were actually only friends. Madelyn and Malachi were good friends from a small town. They were the only ones pursuing music. It’s what they built their friendship on. They’ve been doing this for the past six months. They were still new. They also had day jobs. Malachi also has a wife and two month old back home as well. And learning they were very new to this seemed to set Howie back.
Howie felt that they were too new to this. He said they weren’t ready and its why he later gave them a no, but its like he hadn’t heard them perform at all. They sounded amazing together. It doesn’t matter if they’re new or not. Howie earned that booing from the audience. The duo sounded amazing. The audience was on their feet for them. The three other judges agreed that these two sounded great together. It’s like Howie just got hung up on the six months that he didn’t hear anything else.
Simon even said the duo sounded better together than some people who’ve been doing this for ten years. Next up was a guy from Spain. His name is Ruben. He doesn’t speak much English. His translator had to tell the judges for him that what comes next was a major surprise. The first surprise began when he ripped off the pants leg to show he has a bionic leg. One that he willing laid down as he showed off his true skills. The man was able to scale buildings and structures on that one leg like he was part Spiderman.
He impressed Simon so much that he gave him the Golden Buzzer. Ruben definitely earned it. He apparently lost his leg in an accident involving a tractor and he turned pain into a magnificent gift. He was a hard act to follow so maybe its good that they placed more duds after him. There were two performers dressed as cats. There wasn’t even a reason for the cat costumes. They were just too weird for the judges. They got rejected. Next up was Bird and Byron. They’ve known each other for over twenty years and they’ve been performing together for the past seven years.
The guys were genuinely great together. Byron was great on guitar. Bird has an amazing voice. They performed an original song and it had Bird on his knees singing. The judges knew in that moment that America was going to love them forever after tonight. The guys were then followed by a familiar face. He was Mr. Hammerhand. He wanted to get into the Guiness World Records book. He tried to do it back on season eighteen and he fell short. He was back for redemption tonight. He wanted to hold the record for most karate chops.
Here’s thing though he finally beat the world record tonight. He got his name into the book. Nothing else mattered. Mackenzie Sol was up next. He was a singer. He first met Simon twenty-one years ago when he auditioned on a talent show. He was four at the time. Yet, Simon seemed to recognize him a little. The first audition didn’t go so well and tonight was a different story. He sang his heart out. He was also near from Mel’s home city. It mattered a great deal because Mel liked what she saw in him and she gave him the Golden Buzzer.
Now, the final act of the night was Patrox from Germany. He was a dancer. A breakdancer to be specific. Patrox’s music also seemed to have cut out and so people weren’t sure what it was they were watching. Or if it was a part of the act. It wasn’t. It wasn’t until it was replayed backwards that they saw how talented Patrox is. He arranged for it to play that way and he got four yesses for giving them the most viral moment of the season.
THE END!
