The wedding was right around the corner, Yet, they practically did nothing for it. They chose the venue and that’s it. They didn’t even plan the joint bachelor/bachelorette party because they kept trying to get in touch with Sammi. She was the Maid of Honor. They tried reaching out to her. She never got back to them.

She blew them off until the time to celebrate their joint trip came. Sammi then said she wasn’t going to make it. She continuously dropped the ball whenever they needed her and so Baylen needed to have a tough conversation with her. Baylen didn’t want to have that conversation. And Colin knew it was needed.

Colin spoke to his own sister about it. Eileen said it would be tough because Baylen needed to talk to Sammi. She needed to find out if Sammi was going to pull out of the wedding as well. Baylen’s brother felt differently. He knew how much Sammi struggled with her anxiety. Its not like she could just shake it off.

Anxiety was to her what Tourette Syndrome was to Baylen. They couldn’t control. They simply had to learn to live with it. Burke knew that Sammi got especially anxious around flying for so long. He felt that the couple should’ve moved their trip to somewhere closer.

Burke got in late because of his flight. He knew that Sammi couldn’t handle it if she had been put in the same position, but that’s not how Colin feels. Colin was holding onto this one.

He felt the vacation should’ve been planned by the Best Man and the Maid Of Honor. He tried to reach out to Sammi. She never answered back. Baylen tried to reach out to her sister. Again, she never answered back. The one time she was willing to return calls was when she said she couldn’t make it and that was pretty much last minute.

Sammi was also denying that she received calls or any communication. It was a blatant lie. One that Baylen tried to call her out at the time and it went nowhere because it never goes anywhere. Baylen hates tough conversations. The same goes for Sammi. Baylen wasn’t clear with her sister about what she expected from a Maid of Honor.

Sammi’s anxiety and even her OCD stopped her from planning the event. There was a third of the bachelorette party that didn’t show up for the vacation. It left some worrying so Colin talked Baylen into finally having that conversation with Sammi.

Baylen later called up her sister. She got a list of the Maid of Honor duties off of Google. She told her sister that she needed her to follow said list. Most of which seemed like plain common sense. Sammi was like of course she knew she had to walk ahead of the bride. Or hold the bouquet for Baylen. Baylen still said these are the thing she expected from her on her wedding day and so Sammi said she’d follow it. The conversation didn’t become nasty or anything. It simply cleared a few things up and Baylen’s mom naturally asked about it when those two later met.

Her mom was worried. She felt like things were getting rushed. It was technically true. The couple wasted months not planning anything. Her mom also knew that besides hiring the wedding planners – the couple hadnt thought about the accessibility of their venue. It was in a remote place. It was still beautiful. It just also happened to be remote. It was going to pose a problem and Mama Bear was worrying about a possible pull out of guests. She brought up all these things with Baylen. It made her daughter think.

Baylen hung out with her family. It included Colin too. Only there were still a few things the couple didn’t know about each other. She hadn’t known that his favorite Christmas song was “Rudolph The Red Nose Reindeer”. Her tic made her mime shooting the reindeer and she then apologized for it. These things they should’ve known about each other before walking down the aisle and Baylen was starting to get worried about that along with several other things. She was worried that their venue was too remote because her mom put that idea in her head.

Baylen then talked to Colin about it. They met up with their wedding planner. They did so much work and now the couple wanted a venue change six months out to their wedding. It was giving very last minute.

THE END!
