Beyond the Gates (BTG) spoilers for the week of May 25-29 suggest Katherine “Kat” Richardson (Colby Natasha Nixon) will experience something horrific, as Doug McBride (Jason Graham) reveals he’s very much alive.
Plus, Leslie Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant) will catch on to Hayley Hamilton’s (Marquita Goings) “game”.
Beyond the Gates just dropped its promo for the week of May 25 – so let’s unpack all the campy chaos that’s about to unfold.
The preview video opens up with Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie) and Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis) getting hot and heavy on their couch in the living room.
As Anita has been so sick from her cancer and the chemo treatments, the couple hasn’t had much intimacy lately; however, now that she’s feeling better and up to it, it looks like they’ll try and hit the sheets (or couch, that is!)
Unfortunately, their steamy moment will be brought to a halt when Kat flies into the room.
The promo shows Kat screaming, “Oh,” as she covers her eyes with her hands when she realizes her bad timing.
As the scenes shift, Deanna McBride (Angela Fairley) is where fans last saw her during the Friday, May 22 show.
As viewers know, the close of the episode saw Deanna run into her thought-to-be-deceased father, Doug. Deanna says, “Daddy, is that really you?”
This is when Doug replies, “Are you just going to stare, or are you going to come over and see for yourself!”
Is Doug alive or a figment of Deanna’s imagination?
Across town, Martin Richardson (Brandon Claybon) is with Terrell Richardson-Smith (Jaden Lucas Miller) at their home.
Martin assures Tyrell they can talk about anything, and the teen replies, “Even sex?”
Of course, Tyrell hit the sheets with Jessica (Camryn Jade) after the cotillion during the week of May 18-22, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t have feelings he needs to “talk out”.
Over at the hospital, Nicole Dupree (Daphnee Duplaix) and Ted Richardson (Keith D. Robinson) are in her office, deep in conversation.
Ted tells Nicole he recommended her as chief of staff to the board. Nicole looks shocked as she asks her ex-husband if he’s out of his mind.
Nicole seems very mad about Ted’s move, so will she decline the position … even though the hospital needs her now more than ever?
As the Beyond the Gates preview for the week of May 25 comes to a close, Leslie and Hayley are sitting at a table at the Fairmont Crest Country Club.
Leslie tells Hayley, “You’re playing the long game.” Hayley assures Leslie that she’s not playing anything, which is when Leslie boldly states, “You just haven’t gotten caught.”
Beyond the Gates spoilers hint that Leslie will continue to push an alliance with Hayley during the week of May 25, so has she caught on to what Hayley is up to?
