Beyond the Gates (BTG) spoilers for the week of September 14-18 reveal that Bradley “Smitty” Smith (Mike Manning) may be charged with a major crime, while Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie) makes a horrifying discovery.
The CBS soap just dropped its weekly preview video, and CDL has all the juicy details about what’s going down in DMV over the next five days!
The Beyond the Gates promo opens with Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie).
She’s in her living room at the Dupree mansion, searching for the long-term effects of chemotherapy on someone’s vocal cords.
As she reviews the results, Anita lets out a terrifying sigh. It sounds like Anita could very well lose her singing voice, so what does this mean for the Articulettes’ reunion album?
As scenes shift, Chelsea Hamilton (RhonniRose Mantilla) is with Katherine “Kat” Richardson (Colby Natasha Nixon), when she asks her cousin if she has feelings for Izaiah Hawthorne (Lami).
Kat grabs her phone, shakes her head, and says into the device, “We are just friends.”
Chelsea wonders what Kat is up to when her BFF notes that she’s using Google Translate to say it in Spanish so Chelsea can understand.
As the Beyond the Gates promo for the week of September 14 continues, Ted Richardson (Keith D. Robinson) is at Orphey Gene’s as he confronts Leslie Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant), who is with Detective Marcel Malone (Darryl W. Handy).
Ted tells Leslie that she’s pathetic for continually trying to sabotage his romance with Shanice Johnson (Ernestine Johnson).
Malone nicely tells Ted to quiet down, as he’s being loud, and the good doctor declares, “He!!, no!”
Leslie then flashes a grin, stating, “Ooooh, alright! Settle down, boys!” Then there’s Bradley “Smitty” Smith (Mike Manning), who is being grilled by Jacob Hawthorne (Jibre Hordges).
Naomi Hawthorne (Arielle Prepetit) is by Smitty’s side, acting as his attorney, as Jacob shows Smitty a device that seems to have a video or photo of him on it.
Jacob wonders if that is Smitty in the photo/video, to which Smitty replies, “It appears to be.”
Jacob questions why Smitty is ‘slipping’ something to another person. Naomi then asks Jacob if Smitty is being charged with something.
As the BTG weekly promo comes to a close, Andre Richardson (Sean Freeman) and Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley) are at home.
Dani tells her hubby she needs to apologize to him. Andre wonders what Dani needs to say sorry for, as Dani states that it is not ‘what’, but a ‘who’.
Will she come clean about her tornado one-nighter with Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durrett)?
As the preview ends, Bill visits Dani at her house and admits he believes he’s dying.
The video ends with Bill in his office at work, with his hand shaking over the computer, before he collapses.
Beyond the Gates spoilers indicate that it’ll be another crazy and chaotic week in the land of Fairmont Crest, so fans will need to tune in to see what happens next!
