Beyond the Gates spoilers for the next two weeks, February 16-27, note that Hayley Hamilton (Marquita Goings) will make a great escape, while there will be a ton of cotillion drama in Fairmont Crest, and Jacob Hawothorne (Jibre Hordges) will dive deeper into danger.
During the week of February 16-20, fans will see couples gather on the show to celebrate Valentine’s Day in very different ways.
While the Monday, February 16 episode will be a repeat, the February 17 show will be all about the love holiday, as super couples spend the day together romancing each other.
First off, Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom) will allow Vanessa McBride (Lauren Buglioli) to take control, so it sounds like things will get even wilder between these two, while Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie) serenades Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis).
In some interesting news, Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durrett) will give Hayley exactly what she wants, so could he finally make good on that trip he’s been promising? More on them and their drama, later.
Across town, Grayson Perez (Jordi Vilasuso) will get annoyed by Ashley Morgan’s (Jen Jacob) resourcefulness, so it sounds like she may do some digging on his mom’s condition and find resources that can help him and the woman.
With that said, fans can sense there is more to Grayson’s story than meets the eye, so he’ll resent Ashley’s snooping, even though the nurse really is only looking to help.
Will she start to see more of the red flags that Derek Baldwin (Ben Gavin) has been talking about?
Across town, Beyond the Gates spoilers for the week of February 16-20 note that Police Chief Elon Hawthorne (Malachi Malik) will try to teach Jacob a lesson of “sacrifices” where his plasma ring case is concerned.
It sounds like Jacob will need to go deeper into his new persona, which means leaving his old life behind.
During the BTG preview, Jacob tells Naomi Hawthorne (Arielle Prepetit) that he has to move out.
It sounds like living with Naomi and this “dual” life is placing him and her in danger, so he’ll need to “walk the walk and talk the talk” as a thug.
In other news, Chelsea Hamilton (RhonniRose Mantilla) will worry about Dr. Madison Montgomery’s (Kenjah) decision to turn down the Copenhagen research project.
Chelsea will continue to be concerned that Madison is “throwing away” her career for their relationship, but is she?
Over at the country club, Beyond the Gates spoilers suggest that Anita will expose her condition to the community after a confrontation with Leslie Thomas’s (Trisha Mann-Grant).
It looks like the two will get into it, and the stress of their “chat” will cause Anita to collapse right in the middle of the dining hall.
Yikes! Anita recently cut her hair, and this, along with her fainting, will open a can of worms in her community, causing people to talk
Sadly, Anita will also have to deal with Anastasia Belleclaire (Timeca Seretti) in the aftermath of her fainting, as the country club gossip will drill her about it.
Will Antastia turn Anita’s breast cancer condition against her in light of their cotillion competition?
Back to Hayley, her life will spiral after Valentine’s Day. Beyond the Gates spoilers for the week of February 16 suggest that Bill will turn to Joey for a favor, so it sounds like he’ll ask the casino owner to get to the bottom of his wife’s mugging.
This will trigger Joey to assign a task to Randy Parker (Maurice K. Perry) that could blow up the henchman’s scheme.
As the days go by, something will also cause Tomas Navarro (Alex Alegria) to become suspicious of Hayley, so Bill’s wife will get questioned by the lawyer, but will she accuse him of overstepping?
Tomas did hear an odd conversation Hayley was having (with Randy – but he doesn’t know that) weeks ago, so Hayley may feel as if she’s being cornered.
Will Tomas tell Bill what he’s heard? In addition, Naomi will catch Hayley off guard in the days ahead, so she, too, may see or hear something from her stepmom that raises an eyebrow.
Not to mention the fact that Lynette Wise (Dominique Madison) will also deal with two intense encounters this coming week, so this “mugging” lie will take on a life of its own.
As the week of February 23-27 approaches, Hayley and Randy will be confronted by Bill, a situation that Joey has set up.
It sounds like the cousins will be left squirming, so will Hayley throw Randy under the bus (or vice versa)?
Perhaps Lynette places something in someone’s ear to create suspicion, too.
Neither of these three can be trusted, but Hayley has the most to lose if the truth comes out, so she’ll do all she can to escape any repercussions.
Meanwhile, Beyond the Gates fans can also expect some cotillion drama during the week of February 23 as the big event draws near. Will Donnell McBride (Alex Cheeks) return during this time?
Viewers do know he’s appearing in Season 2, with episodes slated to air soon, so he might be the one to come to Samantha Richardson’s (Najah Jackson) rescue.
After all, she has no date for the gala and has been advised to ask someone. Samantha and Nicole Dupree (Daphnee Duplaix) will chat about an issue they have with Vanessa when the blonde comes up with a solution.
Will Vanessa encourage Donnell to help out a friend and be Samantha’s cotillion escort?
Then there’s Jacob, who will be out on his own, desperately trying to gather any evidence he can bring down the plasma ring.
BTG audiences can’t help but feel as if Jacob is in a world of danger with this mission, so what kind of dire situation will he land in?
