Beyond the Gates spoilers for Tuesday, January 13, suggest Ashley Morgan (Jen Jacob) will have a hot date, while Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis) attempts to hide something, and Nicole Dupree (Daphnee Duplaix) struggles.
Tuesday’s show will be jam-packed with a ton of drama, so it’s time to talk about what BTG fans should expect.
Let’s start with Ashley’s date. During the Monday, January 12 episode, she pulled some strings at the lab to get Naomi Hawthorne’s (Arielle Prepetit) and Chelsea Hamilton’s (RhonniRose Mantilla) genetic marker tests pushed through.
It turns out that a lab technician named Grayson Perez agreed to help Ashley, but only if she would go out on a date with him.
Ashley thinks he’s super cute, so it’s all good, but this was definitely a bigger picture moment as the show is setting up Grayson’s debut, who will be played by The Young and the Restless alum Jordi Vilasuso (ex-Rey Rosales).
This week’s preview shows Ashley and Grayson flirting at the bar, so it sounds like the two will have massive chemistry.
Plus, it sounds like they’ll also hit the sheets, so it’ll be interesting to see how things play out.
Across town, Beyond the Gates spoilers imply that Vernon will attempt to hide something from Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie), but she’ll eventually find out about it.
It sounds like the Dupree matriarch will return from her chemotherapy and realize that Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley) has tested positive for a genetic marker, despite Vernon trying to keep it from her.
Vernon isn’t one to lie to or to have secrets, so she won’t be too mad at him, considering the circumstances, but Anita will insist on seeing Dani so she can console her daughter.
However, she won’t be the only one rallying around Dani, as the rest of the family will join her side, so Dani knows she can lean on them.
Still, added teasers imply that Nicole will struggle during the January 13 episode.
She may bear some guilt around Dani testing positive and dealing with this stress, while she tested negative.
Lastly, Jacob Hawthorne (Jibre Hordges) and his dad, Elon Hawthorne (Malachi Malik), will have a tender talk.
Jacob may tell his pops what’s going on with Naomi and the rest of the Duprees.
Then again, the two could have a conversation about their own family, as there’s so much conflict between Elon and his other son, Izaiah Hawthorne (David Lami Friebe). Perhaps the two men talk about both situations?
