Leslie is set to have a meeting with Garland Memorial’s new Chief of Staff, Dr. Monica McCormick (Iona Morris), and things won’t go well.
Not only is Monica Shanice Johnson’s (Ernestine Johnson) aunt, who already has a terrible impression of Leslie, but the new head honcho at the hospital will let the woman know that the healthcare center is cutting ties with the free clinic.
This news, and Leslie’s ego, will cause the two ladies to fight, so how ugly will things get?
Meanwhile, Grayson Perez (Jordi Vilasuso) will get a surprising offer. Is this coming from Ashley Morgan (Jen Jacob)?
She did recently offer him a little hope when she agreed to possibly pick up where they left off before the plasma ring flipped their romantic world upside down.
Then again, this might be a proposition that is work-related, so only time will tell.
Across town, Beyond the Gates spoilers for Wednesday, July 8, suggest that Kat’s impulse buy will annoy Tomas.
This has to be about the condo Kat purchased during the Tuesday, July 7 show.
He made it clear on the July episode that moving into a condo won’t work for him, so will these two argue about this?
Maybe Tomas feels like Kat is pulling this condo move out of pity – maybe he wants something more traditional with her, where they wait to move in together until after they are married.
Either way, they won’t see eye to eye on this, and this “condo” business could cause issues for TomKat.
