Beyond the Gates (BTG) spoilers suggest Lauren Buglioli, who plays Vanessa McBride – Doug McBride’s (Jason Graham) wife – recently dropped a hint that her husband may be here to stay in Fairmont Crest.
BTG fans were shocked to see Doug appear to his daughter, Deanna McBride (Angela Fairley), at the country club during the close of the Friday, May 22 show.
He didn’t exactly say anything, so audiences are left with a ton of questions.
In addition, the Monday, May 25 episode was pre-empted due to the American Memorial Day holiday, which has left viewers hanging in a major way.
Beyond the Gates fans have been buzzing on social media with speculation over whether Doug is really alive, if he’s a ghost, a hallucination, and how long his run on the show will be.
After all, Doug died in a fiery crash last September; however, this is the land of soaps.
There’s always a possibility that he survived the crash and faked his death, staying underground until the perfect time to pounce.
There’s also potential that the man in front of Deanna is actually Doug’s evil twin, or *gasp* ‘The Impaler’, so fans will have to wait until the Tuesday, May 26 show to get more information.
Beyond the Gates spoilers for the May 26 episode imply that Doug will encourage Deanna to go on a mission.
Is this Doug’s ghost trying to help heal his daughter, or is it Doug in the flesh, looking for revenge against Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom)?
In the meantime, Graham’s co-star, Buglioli, posted an interesting video on Instagram shortly after the May 22 episode.
It was of her and Graham, doing a little dance to the song, “Where is My Husband,” by RAYE.
The caption read, “We said Messy McBrides, and we meant it.”
Could this be a tease that the man fans saw on the May 22 episode is, in fact, Doug, and he’s alive?
If so, things are about to get very sticky in the land of Fairmont Crest!
Beyond the Gates spoilers indicate that Joey had better be careful if Doug has returned and enlisted his daughter, Deanna, for a revenge plot, as she’s been itching for some backup to launch a strike against the casino owner.
