Beyond the Gates (BTG) crossover event with The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers confirm a tornado will hit, while Hayley Hamilton (Marquita Goings) kisses Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).
Plus, Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley) shares a shocking (and terrifying) moment with Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durrett).
BTG’s Executive Producer, Sheila Duckworth, had an interview with TV Insider and talked about the big event, which is taking place June 9-12.
Duckworth stated that while BTG has had crossover arcs with Y&R and The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) in the past, this was small stuff compared to what’s coming.
Duckworth went on to say that during June’s crossover extravaganza, viewers will see, “… a multi-episode display of the Newmans and the Abbotts and everybody on the show really intermingled with our Duprees, and it is going to be big, and I mean big.”
In addition, while the drama will hit the fan during June 9-12, the shockwaves of what’s happened in Fairmont Crest will be felt long after, even when the citizens of GC head back to their hometown.
Duckworth elaborates by saying, “What happens in these episodes is so compelling, and then what happens as a result of what happens in these episodes is epic. That is all I can say. It is epic.”
It’s important to remember that the six characters from The Young and the Restless that are headed to BTG include: Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), Devon Winters (Bryton James), his wife, Abby Winters (Melissa Ordway), and Diane Abbott (Susan Walters).
With that said, a preview video has been released of highlights from the Y&R/BTG crossover.
Victor, Devon and Abby, as well as The Abbotts, will arrive for Martin Richardson’s (Brandon Claybon) campaign fundraiser. Of course, The Moustache himself will act as a keynote speaker.
While Fairmont Crest residents schmooze with their GC counterparts, there will be plenty of drama, as Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom) arrives at the festivities, much to Martin’s shock.
Still, that’s not the biggest news, as there is a disaster coming in the form of a tornado!
The storm will hit the night of the fundraiser, causing chaos and destruction at every turn.
In fact, the country club’s chandelier will fall; will a Y&R or BTG character get severely hurt?
In addition, Dani will be stuck in an elevator with her ex-husband, Bill, and it’s hard to tell if he’ll have a medical emergency or if the two will share a moment.
There is a steamy scene with someone who appears to Dani, and an unknown man in an elevator, but only the waist down is seen.
Speaking of romance, sparks will fly in the most unlikely places as Kyle and Hayley are left alone somewhere during the tornado, and the two share a steamy lip lock!
Apparently, the kiss is Hayley’s way of thanking Kyle for “saving her life”!
Beyond the Gates spoilers hint that June 9-12 will offer surprising, scary, and sizzling moments, so it’ll be five episodes fans won’t want to miss!
