On tonight’s Big Brother 28 episode, a new season of Big Brother began tonight, but there was one familiar face. Season 26’s Angela Murray was back. She sunk her own social game last time and she can easily make herself a villain once more. She was joined by Ashley. She was from Illinois
She was a Bartender or she was trying to be one. She was in it for the vibes. She happily admitted she played up her ditsy persona because it helps people underestimate her. There was also La Trice. La Trice was beautifully aging into her late 50s. She was a fashion designer from New Jersey.
She owned her own store and was a bodybuilder on top of being a mother of four. She wasn’t one to shy away from the tougher choices.
Neither was Lyric. Lyric was an Eviction Lawyer. She graduated college in three years. She passed the bar at twenty-three and was just as much of a social butterfly as the others.
In fact, all the ladies were very social. There was both a Lyric as well as a Melody this season. Melody was a Corporate Game Show Host from Arizona.
She was used to thinking on her feet and she was out for the prize this season. Most of the women were out for the prize. It was just the guys saying something differently.
There was Haley. Her dad put her in every sport growing up so she was super competitive. She wasn’t afraid to hurt people in softball either. Haley was a Telemedicine Executive from Missouri. Guys are usually shy around her because she come across as so capable. Only she wasn’t ruling out love or at most a showmance.
There was also Taylor. She was an Elementary School Counselor who looked a lot like LaTrice. They even had their hair the exact same way and this Floridian was also open to love with the bigger focus on getting the money.
Rounding out the women was Mallory. Mallory was a literal Rocket Scientist. She was just as muscled as La Trice and was from New Jersey as well. She has a lighter side that loves throwing themed parties. She also quickly developed a girl crush on another contestant in the house.
Then there was the guys. Kamu was a Professional MMA fighter from Hawaii. His mother happened to be from Jamaica and so he’s known as the Jawaian. He was followed by Drew. Drew sounded like a Californian because that’s where he’s from.
He gives off frat boy energy when he’s actually a lot smarter than people he realized. He was the first to wait for the surprise he just knew was right around the corner tonight.
He was also a Surgical Dental Assistant when he wasn’t. Jason was more known to the audience. Jason was a California Drag Queen that was once on RuPaul’s Drag Race. He let his alter ego take over at the time and he got backstabbed by the others. He went into the competition as Jason and he was hoping to stay Jason without bringing out his alter ego Selena’s diva side.
There was someone else from the Midwest. There was Rome from Michigan. He believed in Midwestern values and just so happened to be competitive as well. He was a tennis player.
He was now a Tennis Coach. He also happened to be Ashley’s type. She loved a mustached man and a lot of the guys were rocking that if not full beards. Barrett meanwhile happened to be a Jumbotron Engineer from Texas. He was the black sheep of his family because he was the only one not athletic. He also happened to be the tallest this season.
Then there was Chuk. He was a Texan down to his cowboy boots. He was a Supply Chain Analyst who happened to be a Nigerian Cowboy at heart.
He has a thick skin after growing up with four sisters. He was definitely into the showmance more than he was into the money. He happily admitted as much and he wasn’t alone because rounding out the guys was Yash. Yash was a Financial Analyst from New Jersey. He was in this solely to find love and even his mother warned him to stop focusing on the girls and zone in on the money.
These eight hadn’t known about Angela. It wasn’t until they all got into the house that Drew said a shoe was about to drop. He could feel it. Melody was so turned off by him because of that frat boy energy that she didn’t pay attention to what he had to say.
Although, the true superfans knew something was off with such an easy start. They proved to be right when Julie announced that this season was going to be a time travel theme. They get to travel back in time and there will be no HOH after tonight.
Yeah, the first week was kicking off without a HOH. The hits kept coming for this crew because they also learned that only twelve could compete for safety.
There were going to be three safe after tonight. They also were joined by three alumni. There was Angela from a previous “Big Brother” season. There was Devins from “Survivor”. The last one was perhaps the biggest shocker because Rachel was back. Rachel was so mad about being first to jury last season that she’s come back yet again to compete for the double crown.
Rome, Chuk, and Jason were all safe after the three competition tonight. It was actually the returnees who were competing for HOH this week. Rachel against Angela and Devins. All fierce competitors. They’ve all won competitions. Rachel was the first one out amongst the three. And the game must go on now that she’s been eliminated before the competition.
Julie even threatened to nominate someone to fill in for Rachel now that she’s gone – who knew Rachel would be a red herring.
THE END!
