In tonight’s Big Brother episode, the claws were out tonight. There was a major divide in the house. There was a massive alliance between the Red Corner and the Crossovers.
They currently held majority. They hid their hands last week but now wanted to flex their power this week. It was a very dramatic/watchable episode tonight.
It all began when they got information about America’s vote. America voted to send one houseguest to play in the BB Time Capsule. If the person won, they will be given an advantage. If the person lost, they would be given a punishment.
They were all aiming to get that for a chance of power if not safety.
The live feeds offered a massive insight on what’s really going on in the house. Angela approached Haley in spite of how she felt about her. She doesn’t like Haley. She never has.
She expressed as much to Dee during Dee’s HOH week. Their plan was to get rid of everyone else outside of their alliance before they turned on each other. Angela was fanning the flames against Rome.
She saw him as the leader of his alliance so she figured cutting the head off the snake would be better for her game in the long run. She was targeting him for a second reason well.
It turns out Rome never once approached her for his alliance. He was calling on people he knew had an issue with the other major alliance.
Thanks to Haley giving blabbermouth Ashley names on who would side with her, the opposition now has those names. They know who initially agreed to vote against Taylor.
Taylor was with Rome’s side. He was taking credit for saving her when truthfully he didn’t do anything major. Ashley sunk herself right before Eviction Night.
Rome taking credit wasn’t going to sit well with anybody and the fact that Haley had been interested in him before he kinda chose Lyric means Angela knows what she’s doing when she approaches people.
Angela has gotten smarter in the game. She was turning into a strategic player. Devins later won HOH. He beat out Haley and Rome soon approached Devins about who would be best on the block. Rome naturally wanted to protect everyone in his alliances. Only that wasn’t possible.
Devins told him that wasn’t possible so Rome gave up names on his number ones. He didn’t want Lyric or Jason touching the block. He said that as long as that happens – he was good with Devins. Angela found out about it and she then approached Devins.
Angela watched Devin’s seasons. She knew he was great at showmanship. She pandered into it by telling him to make a big move. She suggested that he backdoor Rome. Rome has half the house. It couldn’t continue. She needed them to expendable and that was only possible if Rome was gone.
Remember that neither Lyric or Melody were willing to stand by Mallory when she faced elimination. They can easily turn again now. to save their own skin. Lyric might’ve already started again. The thing is Angela knew he’d want to make a big move and she convinced him to do just that.
They held a private meeting in the HOH room. They held it as like three to four in the morning. They figured they’d be less conspicuous that way. They underestimated Rome. He knew it was odd that people were being woken up for a private meeting. He took Lyric and Jason to see what was going on.
They even saw Barrett join the group. Rome then did something complete audacious. He went up there to ring the doorbell to the HOH room. He rang it several times. No one answered. They didn’t even quiet down so he knew right away what the nominations were going to look like.
Rome knew his people weren’t safe. He was worried about Jason. He was worried about Lyric. Lyric on the other hand was proving to be too much of a flirt. The live feeds were showing getting flirt with both Kamu and Chuk. Angela meanwhile got chosen by America’s Vote. She entered the BB Time Capsule.
She got spun around until she landed on punishment. She was forced to wear the Hard Boiled Egg Detective costume. Jason was so upset that he wasn’t chosen that he actually cried in the confessional.
Rome then tried to turn the tides with Devens by literally threatening repercussions. Rome warned him not to go against his alliance. Devens then decided to throw Rome under the bus during the later Nomination Ceremony because of that conversation. He nominated Melody, Lyric, and Jason.
He also told Rome’s alliances that Rome was fine with eliminating Lala and Melody. Jason was going at Devens after the ceremony so Angela stepped in with a “bitch, please”. She returned the same energy he gave her and the two started an argument all while Lala began crying.
