In tonight’s Big Brother episode, Kamu was eliminated last week. He went out during an ally’s week. Yash did everything right. He won HOH, he won Veto, and he would’ve kept his noms the same if it hadn’t been for Devens. Devens used his Diamond Veto to take Dee off the block. She was his number one ally in the house.
They’ve always chosen each other at the end of the day so Devens using his power on her makes sense. Sure, he could’ve held onto it for a little longer in case he might need to use it on himself yet Devens’s game this season has been messy with a side of a Dee.
Devens disrupted Yash’s HOH week. He sent home one of Yash’s own allies. They held onto Haley of all people and now nothing makes sense. The one feeling that the most was Lala.
Lala was left outside of the vote. Her allies didn’t get the chance to warn her in time that Kamu was out. The icons plus Barrett and Drew have been working together long enough that they created a beast. It was a house eating beast.
It no surprise at all that most of the people of color were left out of the vote. They thought they could at least count on Mallory and Melody. No can do. They heard the others were siding with Haley right before the vote.
They then followed the trend rather than be left out. They just didn’t have time to tell Lala or Yash. They did warn Taylor. Taylor didn’t get time to warn her number one either so it was Lala who solely voted to oust Haley. She doesn’t like Haley. There were a lot of people that didn’t like Haley’s game. And they still kept her over Kamu.
Lala tried to apologize to Haley for what she did. Haley then sunk herself by telling Haley that she was a bully and that she’s been bullying her all last week. “Bully” is a strong word. It has to be really bad to justify it on live tv because people are literally seeing everything.
What happened to Taylor Hale was bullying. What happened to Haley didn’t seem to reach said heights. There was also the BB Unlocked Crew who spoke with Kamu. Kamu got into some trouble due to his George Floyd comments before he entered the house and it was bad. It was really bad. Again this was before the show.
Meaning it was up to the show to do a deep dive. They had to vet these people. Kamu was considered a racist since his comments came to live by everyone outside of the house, but everyone inside of the house had no idea what was going on. They thought Kamu was one with everyone. Until Lyric went home.
He kinda lost his mind afterwards and blew up his own alliance after that one. He then went around telling everyone that he was a free agent. He didn’t care about anyone else. He only cared about himself.
It’s actually one of the reasons why Drew sent him home. Drew was talking to Mallory and Melody prior to the vote. They were telling him to oust Haley because they didn’t like her. They couldn’t work with her. It seemed pointless to hold onto her when they could work with Kamu and Drew pointed out that Kamu hasn’t actually proven loyalty.
He’s betrayed everyone he once worked with. His original big two were both on the block at the same time. He kept Veto to himself that week while they went home.
Little things like that were going to stand out to Drew of all people especially. Drew remembers how unsafe he’s been whenever an ally has been HOH. The key of the night was to work together all the way to the final two where they could turn on each other in the most brutal fashion.
Angela believed herself to be in a three person solid alliance with the other icons until last week when they showed her that “Survivor” people stick together. She had been on the block too. She had to take herself off of it. Angela will remember that if she’s smart.
Her fellow icons said as much. They said goodbye of their BB UnLocked so that the rest of the show could carry on. First thing first, it hadn’t just been Lala that got upset with the way the votes went. Yash was livid. He knew that Drew had burned him. Yash didn’t nominate Drew. He thought they could work together.
He nominated people he knew he couldn’t trust and they detonated his week. They ruined it. They ruined his game. He knew he was going to get nominated again and again until he went home. His supposed allies didn’t care about that in the slightest.
Paul stopped by the house. He was known as the Houseguest that came second twice. He also wasn’t afraid to laugh at himself about it. He hosted the HOH competition tonight.
Yash couldn’t play because he was HOH last week. It left feeling him extra vulnerable going into the competition. They had to be the fastest to the buzzer after staying on that ridiculous maze.
They brought that one back. The one that had the time to beat was Drew until Dee finally beat it. Dee became the new HOH. The icons were back in charge.
Some could say they’ve never been out of charge.
Taylor had a list of top three people she didn’t want to win. Dee was on that list. Taylor knew she had to fight like nothing else just to hold on another week. Devens meanwhile would get to sit back. He’d relax because why shouldn’t he? He saved Dee last week. They became each other’s number ones on night one.
They weren’t worried about anybody else. They weren’t even worried about Angela. They needed her. She needed them. It was all a case of for now. It wasn’t like with Lala who was crying about going up on the block. She was ready to go home by now.
Taylor kept her focused. Taylor reminded her that they could always turn things around. Dee was sloppy at this game. She was prepared to turn on Drew from practically the start. Drew was literally still feeding her information about her enemies and she was choosing to believe he might be wrong about Lala
. Dee chose to spend the first moments after her win calling out Drew. She even went as far as to bribe Yash for information. What was the point of that? Drew was back to feeling unsafe during an ally’s week.
Dee was also out of a bribe that could’ve been spent more wisely. She’s sloppy. Drew then won America’s Vote. He entered the BB Time Capsule. He earned the Never Not Pass.
He could never be a Have Not Pass. It wasn’t one of the top tier powers there was. Still, Drew tried to use it to buy some freaking trust with Dee. He later told her about it. He told her that America has consistently all voted for their side and that meant they really were on the same side. Dee said she doesn’t care about what America thinks.
Dee has wanted Drew out for the longest because Angela has been in her ear. She’s been in her ear since week one. Whispering to backdoor a guy on their side. It was the Angela’s paranoia working against her back then. Dee later made her nominations. She nominated Lala, Drew, and Taylor. She said they were all sus.
Only Taylor was done playing nice. She finally went after Drew after what he’s been telling people. She did it in front of everyone so he couldn’t back down and it had been glorious to watch.
Drew stayed loyal to people who were never loyal to him and it came back to haunt him tonight.
