In tonight’s exciting Big Brother season 28 episode 25 called, “Live Eviction, Who Was Vote Out?” as per the CBS synopsis, “Celebrating the 1000th episode, with a look back at memorable moments from the show’s historic 26-year run.
Following a live vote, a houseguest is evicted and interviewed; the remaining houseguests compete for power in the next head of household.”

It was the 1000th episode of Big Brother. Its been a night twenty-six years in the making. Previously on this season, Drew joined at least three alliances with Dee and it didn’t stop her from nominating him this week.
Dee didn’t honor his loyalty. She also realized she could no longer use him spy on the other half of the house. They now know they couldn’t trust Drew. They don’t like Drew. The icons don’t like Drew. They used him up until he was no longer valuable and then threw him to the wolves because they claimed that they couldn’t trust.
Drew has surprisingly been consistently loyal to them. Them as Barrett. Barrett was so angry that the icons was betraying the many alliances that he now wants to oust Drew. What good will that do? No one trusts Drew. No one believes in a word Drew is saying. He’d be leaving at his weakest.
It would’ve been the boss move to take him out at his strongest and not his weakest. Taking him out tonight does nothing. Barrett was just trying to prove himself. There’s no need for that. The half that doesn’t like Drew also doesn’t like him either.
The icons are villains, but they at least are honest about being villains. They were always doing stuff to shake up the game and somehow they came at majority of minorities’ expense.
They didn’t have to blow up the Red Corner by ousting Lyric. Lyric was no true threat in this game. They could’ve taken out Melody like planned and no one would have seen their hands. Then targeted the Red Corner until they suddenly stopped this week in spite of making an all new alliance with the other side of the house.
It was super messy. It’s what made great TV for the most part. It was the ostracizing of Lala and Taylor that didn’t make sense. They had been free agents at the start. The icons had a chance to align with them. It had even been Drew’s idea to align with Taylor. He could see how the other half weren’t really talking to her in any way.
He spoke up with his group about it. It’s why his friends began distrusting him in the first place. They didn’t like that he was making moves of his own or that he could be playing more than one side to the house. Drew in order to stay loyal to them then course corrected. He came down hard on both Lala and Taylor.
He was now forever mocking them behind their backs. Him and several others have been accused of racism this season because of the ostracizing of two black women. The show has also gotten a lot of flak over it.
It was no surprise during this anniversary episode – they happened to bring out a group of former black winners to talk about the Big Brother community. Though it should be noted that one legend had called Lala another legend in the making. Lala was one of the oldest contestants. She’s won HOH. She’s won Veto this week alone.
They keep trying to take down both Lala and Taylor. Over what? Is it because they didn’t want to play the social game with you? Why? They need to give a clear honest reason on their way out the door and that goes especially for Drew.
Barrett was talking a big game tonight about evicting him. He said he’d refused to flip the vote at the last minute if they try doing that to him again. He was done with the being the bottom of their alliance. Its why Dee should’ve played it smarter about Drew.
Funnily enough, once the show stopped their shenanigans to air the episode, things got good. Dee and Devens found themselves so screwed. They kept taking over other people’s HOHs to the point that everyone wants their lick back. Haley refused to work with them to prioritize their game over her own. Yash agreed.
They both paid lip service to them to their face while secretly plotting behind their backs. Barrett finally made a boss move when he decided to work against the icons. He approached Mallory and Melody. He told them what Dee’s plan was. He betrayed the icons.
Angela went along mostly with Dee’s plans because she thought they were final two. They weren’t. The great thing about Angela though was that she will turn on an ally the second she feels betrayed. She went along with he plan because she didn’t want to put that four of the Mosh Pit on jury.
Going along with Dee and Devens didn’t seem to be all that helpful. Poor Drew still wanted to work with them because he was such a super fan of the show as well as “Survivor”. Drew ran out and won the BB Blockbuster.
Drew was now safe. He was a vote against Mallory. He was also one more vote against Mallory. Only Melody and Barrett voted to evict Taylor over Mallory.
The others all voted to evict Mallory and she was evicted tonight. She wasn’t going to make it to jury. The icons remained untouchable for one more week. It gave them the idea that they could keep running this game. And so Barrett standing up had been for nothing.
And Julie confessed there will be no HOH next week or Veto competition, but someone will be getting evicted all the same.
